The outrigger reef is a beautiful place to stay. Great live music, friendly and accommodating staff and a beautiful and convenient location. Thankyou especially to our lovely housekeepers. Mary Bonnie always made sure to do a wonderful job at making sure our room was always kept in a beautiful condition. Most importantly, she always made it a great start to the day with her positive attitude, and always making a point to say hello and see how we were. Bun bun (my soft teddy) also greatly appreciated how every morning she was placed happily on the bed:). We also had a lovely male house keeper at the beginning of our stay, but unfortunately didn’t catch his name. Thank you!💕

A Grounding Staycation with Heart and Culture
As an O‘ahu-based photographer, I booked a solo staycation at the Outrigger to slow down and refuel my inspiration, and it exceeded expectations. From the moment I arrived, the valets: John, Brexton, and Kewen, were incredibly warm and welcoming, making the experience feel personal and effortless. At the front desk, Ambrose, Rey, and Stanley combined professionalism with genuine hospitality, making check-in smooth while also making me feel truly cared for. I loved my room and the hotel’s perfect location in the heart of Waikīkī, ideal for exploring and soaking in the energy of the area. To deepen my stay, I visited the A‘o Cultural Center, a must for anyone wanting to learn about the history, culture, and people of the Hawaiian Kingdom. Auntie Luana, Mark, and Lihau share this knowledge with depth, reverence, and heart. A grounding, inspiring stay from start to finish. I’ll be back soon! 🦋

Outrigger Waikiki was a very pleasant hotel/resort right on the beach. Had several shops to on the beach and in the hotel. No free breakfast. Nice pool. Surfing lesson on the beach.

Outrigger Reef was great for family vacation
Such a fun hotel with staff who make you feel like family (ohana). Special shout out to John, Hannah, Mary, Frank, Liau, and Kanani for taking great care of us and remembering our names! Rooms were comfortable, clean, and classy. Pool and 3 hot tubs also fun. Enjoyed the cultural center and learning about Hawaiian culture including making leis!

Lovely time in Waikiki!
Clean, very friendly, well located hotel. Great pool but limited size beach. Had everything we needed and walkable to shopping, many restaurants, and Waikiki Beach. Near a bus stop and Military Museum. Mary Lovelyn our housekeeping staff was excellent!
