Jul 04, 2025Amazing stay close to the beach
We originally booked a stay at the Oz Luxury Hotel but were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to the brand-new tower of the Oz Hotel, part of the same hotel group, located just 150 meters away. The facilities are impeccable. The room was spacious, stylish, and sophisticated, with great lighting, a comfortable king-size bed, and top-quality pillows. The bathroom and shower were also excellent and very roomy. The staff was extremely attentive from the moment we arrived — starting with a welcome drink at check-in — and remained thoughtful throughout our stay, offering towels, coffee, and water 24/7. Housekeeping was efficient and consistent, which is especially important in a hotel so close to the beach. The location is outstanding. Bocagrande is a fantastic area to enjoy Cartagena’s beaches and dining options, and it's also just a short ride from the historic center, Getsemaní, and the departure points for boat tours. Breakfast offers a wide variety of high-quality options, especially fresh fruits and breads. The hotel also features a beautiful rooftop terrace with an incredible view. It would be even better if there were a bar to make the most of that wonderful space.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel. Just a few blocks from the beach, nice rooftop area just to hang out. No real bar on the rooftop which kinda sucks, but you can always access Oz Luxury a block away for their rooftop bar. Pretty quiet at night, not much happening in this area of Bocagrande at night Room: Quite comfortable. Bed was firm enough. The only thing was the AC isn't strong at all and with it being 85 and 40000% humidity, a powerful AC would've gone a long way. I just couldn't get the room cold. The water stopped in the bathroom for some reason but the front desk quickly resolved it without having maintenance enter my room. Huge plus. Breakfast: Breakfast buffet was ok, left a bit to be desired, but had plenty of options. Staff: Front desk and rest of the staff were solid. I arrived super late and was able to check-in quickly. I think her name is Camilla at the front desk - she was great. Everyone was super friendly. I would consider staying here again.

Amazing hotel, highly recommend
Great experience. We have been assigned massive room, with decent A/C, huge bed and very specious shower. Big credit to houskeeping for making it sparkling clean! We had little issue with an extra bed but that was addressed to the team members and resolved by manager on our favour- thank you so much! Every staff member is very attentive and polite, good value for money- highly recommended.

Very very good!
Very very good!!! The hotel was above our expectations!!! Alex was extremely kind to us. Recommendation: try the juices at the bar. The hotel is located at the new part of the city, boca grande. You can find good restaurants walking distance. The service was excellent.
