  Unforgettable experience

  We visited Ozen Life Maadhoo as a family of four, kids are already 15+. This was an uforgettable experience for all of us. Everything was so in order, staff planning our dinners, excursions, serving with utmost hospitality. Thanks to all Ozen Life Maadhoo staff who made this a wonderful experience for us. Amenities, rooms, food were beyond expectations as well. Special thanks to GM Ms Mei, Mr Amit and Mr Ayush for their warm hospitality once again.

  A truly special place, made even more special by its people

  We honestly didn’t want to leave OZEN Life Maadhoo. From the moment we arrived, the service from every single member of staff has been exceptional. There is such a genuine warmth throughout the resort that you quickly stop feeling like guests and start feeling like part of the OZEN family. A very special shout-out to our wonderful butler, Hussain. He was charming, genuinely lovely and went above and beyond throughout our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble and he always made sure we were looked after, without ever being intrusive. He really did make our holiday that little bit more special. And Boni deserves a very special mention too. She was honestly the best front of house we came across during our stay. There is such a lovely warmth to her — she made us feel welcome every time we saw her and has such a natural way of making people feel looked after. Then there are all the chefs and the wonderful people who became familiar faces throughout our stay. Vishal from M6M deserves a huge mention — we absolutely loved him. And Harsh, our Mr Super Juice Maker, who was always such a pleasure to see. Jo at the bar was another favourite, always friendly and welcoming. And we certainly can’t forget Muscan from M6M, who was another very special part of our experience. The food has been absolutely outstanding — genuinely 5-star quality, with such an incredible variety that we’ve been completely spoilt. Every meal has felt like an experience in itself. Our accommodation has been rustic, beautiful and idyllic, perfectly fitting the relaxed island feel. But what has really made OZEN so special is the atmosphere. The island has been full, yet somehow it has never felt crowded. It still feels as though the island is ours — peaceful, private and completely unhurried. It is the people who make this place. The smiles, the warmth, the little conversations, the remembering of your name and what you like — all those small things that make you feel genuinely cared for. We have had the most amazing time and are genuinely so sad to leave. OZEN has given us one of those holidays that will stay with us for a very long time. Thank you to the whole OZEN team — and especially Hussain, Boni, Vishal, Harsh, Jo and Muscan — for making our stay so incredibly special.

  Service 5 stars/Resort is tired.

  We were a family, my husband and I, teenage son and my mother, visiting from the UK. The best things about Ozen were the staff. They were without exception, excellent. I want to name, Natey, Hakeem, Jo, Boni and Salaudin. Also the manager in Joie de VIVRE, I cannot recall his name. He’s an honest, one I wish I’d read before booking. First of all, weather. We were told to expect small bursts of rain. What we had was small bursts of sun. Of our 7 days we had no full sunny days. It was mostly overcast, with periods of sun. Quite short. Then we had a full 24 of rain, which did not stop. High winds and to be honest it was a bit scary. Obviously the weather cannot be controlled but if we’d known we wouldn’t have gone. The resort, on first sight is very pretty. But it’s quite old and to be honest looking tired. I think the majority needs a renovation. This was the most disappointing part. We booked a wind villa. It’s very beautiful but furniture was chipped, curtains were a little marked and just needing replaced. The bathroom was the same. Taps/sinks etc were marked and rusting. Tiling was very old and grout was marked. This really let the room down. Other points - mini bar was good, but no spirits. The restaurants felt generally the same, though not quite as worn. More just a little dated in places. Cleaning was good, but not great. I think the resort buildings could also do with a deep clean. But as said a renovation would really be required. Think floor tiles in Joie de VIVRE. Cracked etc. The great - the food. We loved the food. We preffered Peking/Indoceylon/M6M to the Palms. But everything was great. We really didn’t have anything that wasn’t good. Our son is very fussy and they really helped with that. I guess what I’m saying is that the resort is being let down by the fabric of the place. The staff, food and service was the very best. Truly warm. Our only other comment would be that the resort was too quiet for us, after 9pm you hardly saw another guest. The requests appeared to be around 70% Chinese families and with children they were in bed very early. We prefer a later night life, so we found it just too quiet.

  Nice trip in Ozen life

  I had a very good holiday in Maldives, and I really like my butler，beautiful Bella. I am really graceful for her help and service. We feel very happy here.

  GOOD

  An exceptional island with outstanding service, especially the butler TUYA who was extremely attentive. OZEN will definitely be my second visit to this island.
