We absolutely loved our stay at Palafitos! It’s amazingly beautiful and the service was great! Complementary tequila and snacks in the lobby at drop off was a nice little perk as well. The employees go above and beyond to make you feel special. They make sure to tell you about any events happening (the hotel on the beach is part of your resort and always has something fun going on). Our personal butler, William, was so pleasant and made sure we had everything we needed and more. Alberto, who is so incredibly friendly and funny, never failed to say hi and give us a ride on the golf cart if needed. He knew everyone’s names and always has a smile on his face. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend a trip to palafitos.

Wonderful Experience!
Everything about our experience was fabulous. The rooms were clean and very nice. The staff was so helpful, polite, funny, and always in a good mood. Alberto, Alfonso, Randy, Patricia, Daniel, the butlers, and the cabana valet were just a few that made our visit memorable. Things I liked about the room other the general beauty of it. The bed and sheets were so comfortable. The toilet had a good flush (this might be odd to mention but some places I have been to ask you not to flush toilet paper and that’s a hard “no” for me). The robes were extremely cozy. The air conditioner was never struggling. We had a preference on room location and while it wasn’t guaranteed we got it. The general layout was well thought out, both the interior and exterior of the room. Another thing we liked is this was a trip for relaxing. Sometimes we go on “fun trips” with friends. This wasn’t what we wanted for this trip. It was quiet, relaxing and if you wanted something more crazy you could walk to the main resort for Rick’s bar or the Mexican beach festival. That brings me to my next point. The exclusivity we loved, but you could always walk around the Main resort and use those amenities. And those grounds were beautiful. The landscaping was so meticulously maintained. The beaches were so clean and well looked after on both the private Palafitos side and Moroma. I get up fairly early and the grounds crew was always up before sunrise to clean away the seaweed and groom the sand with the tractor. They continued through the day to maintain a beautiful appearance without ever disturbing the tranquil experience. Now, the food. The restaurant was so GOOD! The room service that comes from the restaurant therefore was the same excellence. The view from the restaurant was very beautiful. We ate at the Italian restaurant in Moroma and lunch at Pepitos. Both were very good, but I still preferred the restaurant at Palafitos. I think I had burrata in some form with every meal. I loved the lack of buffets. If you don’t feel like getting dressed the room service is so delicious you don’t miss out not going out somewhere. To summarize we will be back and eagerly wait to book again. Thank you Palafitos for a much needed reset!

100/10 Experience!
Beautiful resort, amazing food, and stellar service! Alberto the bellboy was great at giving us a tour of the resort and driving us around when needed. Our butlers Fernando and William were wonderful and helped us with everything from room service to setting up dinner and jet ski reservations. The wait staff was wonderful as well, especially Ulysses and Randy. We loved the bartender at the beach bar, too! Would highly recommend this resort for some quiet time. It’s stunning and the food was so good.

Celebrated our 25th Anniversary
We had a wonderful time at Palafitos. Alberto was so friendly every time we saw him! The food was excellent. And the views are to die for.

Palafitos is an incredible resort
The resort and beach were very clean. Yasser and Pillar were our butlers at Palafitos Bungalow Resort on Maroma Beach. They did an excellent job tending to every need we had. Rooms were great and comfortable. Alberto was another favorite of ours at the resort. Very personable and friendly. He made our stay even better with his up beat personality and charm. Worth every penny
