  Pictures Can Be Deceiving

  The view from this place is spectacular. The photos online versus the actual “resort” are a bit different. A little cleaning would go a long way. While it says that there are private beaches, the locals like to use them as well and leave their trash. Nobody polices this and it is definitely not a private beach. The pool was under construction without any notification when booking. Clearly things are falling apart at the hotel and not being kept up. While the staff was friendly, the hotel needs a lot of maintenance, just cleaning up the empty beer bottles would be helpful. The room was spacious but also needing maintenance, light fixture falling off the wall, cracks throughout, floor boards needing replaced. The shower is super tiny. Again, beautiful view but some maintenance is strongly needed.

  Not a good place DONTSTAY HERE!!!!!

  Holy this place is trash there is a missing window in bathroom so people can peek in while your using the restroom also the walls have water damage and even the best room the bungalow had cracks in the walls like renovate this place and there were spiders mosquito and lizards in the room with holes in the ceiling like who is the manager or owner like put some money to fix the dam place the 2 good things is that the staff are nice and shows were cool that's it I dont know why this place is rated so high but this is garbage even the microwave tried to explode. Sorry to say but DONT STAY HERE!!!!!!

  Beautiful Beach, Unacceptable Accommodations

  I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to warn future travelers. The beach itself is beautiful, but unfortunately that was the only highlight of my stay. The accommodations were outdated and did not match the photos used in the listing. I also experienced serious issues with room security and cleanliness during my stay. My first room had a balcony door that would not lock, requiring me to move rooms. On my second night, I found a cockroach on my bed and watched another crawl into the wall. I understand that tropical beachfront properties can occasionally have insects, but they should never be in your bedroom—especially on your bed. At that point, I no longer felt safe staying there. While the staff I interacted with were courteous and professional, the condition of the property itself was not acceptable for the price or expectations set by the listing. Thankfully, Hotels. com took my concerns seriously and relocated me to another resort the following morning. The difference was night and day. I understand the property is under new ownership, and I sincerely hope the planned renovations address these concerns because the location has tremendous potential. Until then, I cannot recommend staying here. Before booking, I strongly encourage travelers to read recent reviews carefully.

  DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!!

  We were told there would be a show.. we booked a family dinner for 7 people…we never experienced a worse night.. no show Service was non acceptable .. we got there at 6 pm and got one plate of food every half hour… at 8 pm we still did not get our food… I do NOT recommend anyone to go there for dinner Absolutely horrible!!!!!
