    Mido’s Review- Paradisus Cancun

    Not really impressed at all. 1- Beach drop to 4-5 ft deep in the first 3 meters. 2- It is hard to find chairs after 9am. 3- Beach chairs can be set in only one position 4- Buffet verity is very low. 5- huge disappointment, No night life, although there suppose to be DJ, but didn’t show up. There is a musician that comes from 8-9 and that is it. 6- No shower to wash your feet from the sand 7- No volleyball Boulders on some parts of the beach that hit you as soon as you walk in. 8- Songs playing at 5-6 in the morning. Don’t know where it’s coming from. 9- Can’t use the facilities after 6pm although our bus pickup is at 8pm.

    First all inclusive

    I understand they're closing for remodeling, so I'm not sure how accurate this review will be soon but I wanted to say that even before the remodel we had a wonderful experience. We booked in the reserve and I'm so glad we did. We were swept up when we got there. Offered drinks and popsicles and escorted to the reserve area. Jose met with us shortly after checking in to talk with us about what we were looking for and booked all of our dinners for the whole trip. We spent a lot of time at the reserve pool, where we were well taken care of. The time of year we were there I guess was a slow time because there were no lines or waits for anything. Not a lot of nightlife. Things wrapped up pretty early, but there were some shows and games and crafts to keep up busy if we were inclined. There are a couple of tables set up in the main area to help book excursions too so you don't have to plan any of that ahead of time or leave. Anything we did set up was just at Aquaworld just across the street. Many things I read people complaining about turned out to be very nitpicky and didn't have any negative effect on our experience.

    We truly don’t have enough words to express our gratitude for Abigail Moreira, our incredible wedding coordinator. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was not just beautiful, but completely seamless. Every little detail was thoughtfully planned, every question answered with such patience and care. She brought such a calm, kind, and sweet energy to the entire process, making us feel supported every step of the way. Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more — and so much of that is because of Abigail’s dedication and heart. She truly has a gift for this, and we genuinely believe she should be leading all weddings at the resort. She has a way of making you feel special, like your wedding is the only one that matters. We can’t wait to come back and visit once the renovations are complete — hopefully for our anniversary — just to see Abigail again and thank her in person for making one of the most important days of our lives so memorable. Thank you, Abigail. You made our wedding unforgettable.

    5-Star Service Thanks to Eddier and David!

    I stayed at this hotel in April with my family—10 of us in total—and we chose the main building so I could be close to the restaurants due to my knee issues. I also have several dietary restrictions (gluten-free, dairy-free, and acid reflux), which can make traveling challenging. The first day was not easy as I struggled to find food I could safely eat. Thankfully, Eddier took the time to meet with me personally, and thanks to his care and attention, I was able to enjoy my meals without getting sick. David, the chef, went on above and beyond for the entire 8 days of our stay. He prepared special meals for my husband and me, delivered them to our table whenever he could, and explained each dish and its ingredients with care. While the resort could use a lot of upgrading—especially the guest rooms, hallways, and beach chairs—the staff’s friendliness and dedication truly made our trip memorable. Because of the special care from Eddier and David, I was able to relax, enjoy my vacation, and spend quality time with my family. The food was absolutely delicious, and I’m incredibly grateful. Five stars for the exceptional service!

    World-Class Vacation!!

    We have been members of the Meliá Vacation Club for almost 25 year. This has been one of the best vacations we have had at the Paradisus Cancun and highly recommend them!! We were celebrating my Birthday and Mother’s Day and wow, it was such a marvelous experience! Over the years we have developed relationships with the team. They are more like family to us and it is the main reason why we keep coming back year after year. We have been to other hotels in Cancun over the years, but there is no comparison with regards to the team! When we arrive, we are greeted by name and are “welcomed back to our home away from home.” It’s awesome! Throughout our stay we were treated with the utmost care, concern, and kindness by the same people we have come to know and care for over the years. What a great team! It is the people that make the difference and this group of individuals above are truly World-Class!! Rodolfo, our concierge, checked in with us daily to make sure we had what we needed. Veronica, the Operations Manager, would check in with us as well and follow up on any needs we had. The restaurant experience (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) was wonderful; World-Class!! Even in the midst of such a huge change and uncertainty, they remained positive and professional and focused on “our” vacation experience! Wow! Extremely humble and selfless! I truly don’t have words to express my gratitude for the great experience we had and to the team for making our vacation so memorable! They all truly went above and beyond!! Thank YOU!! Lastly, we understand that the resort needs renovations and for the closure of the resort until next year. We are sure that it will be even better than it is now and hope/pray that we see the same team back!
