Lovely adult only all inclusive in San Jose

This property is a fabulous all inclusive in San Jose. Minutes from the airport and from sister city Cabo San Lucas(which is grimy in my humble opinion). The resort is lovely and a staff member did not pass me without saying hello. There are 7 restaurants and food quality is very good and food services are very organized. I had a garden view room and it was clean, and well appointed. 24/7 room service is also very nice. The rooms are equipped with a Nespresso machine and the mini fridge is stocked and replenished daily(as are some helpful snacks). The Melia brand of hotels are quite nice. I will definitely stay here again. The views of the ocean from the property are lovely. It’s right next door to a Hilton, and the signage is a little hidden away, so you may not even realize that you’ve arrived. They should move the signage to make it more prominent.

    Relaxing Stay

Stayed at the resort with several couples for an anniversary trip. Wonderful service during our stay. We did have the Reserve upgrade & enjoyed the easier access to snacks and top shelf liquor options. The beach area was very nice and a welcome change from the icy cold pool. The pool was uncomfortably cold, but it didn't stop us from enjoying it. We never felt overcrowded at the pool or beach area, there was some saving seats but we were always able to find them. The food was very good, on the better end of AI's I've stayed in the past. The dinner reservation system was ironed out at the start of our stay so it wasn't too much of a pain, although it takes away flexibility at the end of long days in the sun. Having such a large group gave us family style appetizers at dinner time, which allowed us to try a bit of everything. Some dishes were not well seasoned or were overcooked, but overall most dishes were excellent. Most notably the steak & mushroom dish at the Reserve restaurant and the Antonia Lofaso fried fish dish at the italian restaurant. There were less options for lunch time, but overall enjoyed the food. We did visit San Jose del Cabo for the art walk and found it to be overcrowded but loved the city otherwise. There isn't much options for nightlife but it is a great resort for relaxing. The daytime activities listed often didn't happen and the evening "shows" were on the lower end of other AI's I've stayed in the past. We made the best of it, since we had a large group we were able to entertain ourselves but I could see how it would get boring and repetitive for a longer stay. I would still stay here again if the price was right & I just wanted to relax & have good service.

    Paradisus is truly a paradise

This is truly me of the best resorts we have been too. When we went it was not adults only and full of families. I can only imagine it was as wonderful at it was when we went. We traveled here in July of 22, but I am now only reviewing. This is a true 5 star experience. From the moment you are greeted with a cocktail upon arrival. The check in process is smooth and you are assigned a personal concierge. You will need him or her for your stay - they will take care of you so make sure you tip accordingly. The rooms are well appointed and taken care of. Full mini bar per room with water/snacks/sodas. The pool is well maintained. We used the kids club extensively but it doesn’t exists now so I won’t go into details. The beach is “usable” but like most of Cabo YMMV. That is not a reflection on the hotel but how Cabo is. The beaches are not useable for the most part. The food was above average for all inclusive. There were several dining options including a non-inclusive choice - which we did and it was fun. The spa was amazing and had lots of water features to use before and after treatment which is my favorite part of the spa experience. We would def had gone back as a family we were going to but they converted to adults only. If you are a couple don’t hesitate! Muy romantica.

    Paradisus is a Gem

A wonderful trip to Paradisus Los Cabos April 2023. This resort is really a hidden gem. Room was clean and a good size. We stayed in the 4500's and were very pleased with the location. The room had a small balcony and mini fridge with water soda and beer. The housekeepers were lovely and left an extra robe and towels for us. They were attentive and took the time to ask if we needed anything. Check in was quick and efficient. We arrived early and while our room was not ready we were able to put bathing suits on and have lunch by the pool. We were also able to extend our check out for a small fee. We had made some reservations over the phone before arriving but still checked in with the concierge who recommended Sante for dinner one night and helped us make some changes to our reservation times. The concierge was very nice and helpful. The property is beautiful and on a great beach. We never had problems getting a nice pool chair or umbrella. The pool service was good most days and there were choices for lunch including a sit down meal at Agua Marina or a more casual meal at the Taco Truck next to the pool bar. The pool bathrooms were always tidy and clean. The food choices were impressive with many restraunts, a coffee shop and an ice cream shop. Sante was our favorite. The Italian option Capella was good with pizza and pastas. Sushi and Asian were available at Tokimeku. All of the food overall was very good and it was easy to enjoy staying on the property. The bar had entertainment and was somewhat lively when they had a DJ. There was live music in the lounge area. While we did not have appointments at the spa we did stop by and it looked like a nice one. The gym was clean and stocked with water, towels and fruit. The only cons were a corporate event that took over a big portion of the pool area one day and the late night Dj in the Asian restaurant which had no ambience or space for a bar. The employees are 5 star! From check in to bar service to housekeeping the employees were friendly and service oriented. The staff consistently exceeded our expectations!
