Jan 30, 2026Amazing staff and beautiful resort!
We checked in last night. We had booked a family concierge room because we wanted a specific type of room and that was the only section that had it available. Once we got here, there are a lot of young kids on the family side. We spoke with Alicia at the front desk and Natalie with the concierge team, and they were both amazing. They were able to change us to a room on the adult side. We are so grateful to them!! Also a shout out to Cesar with guest services. He made us feel very welcome on our arrival last night. All of the staff here have been amazing!

Amazing Mexican vacation
We had a great family vacation at the Paradisus resort. Our concierge Tiara Garcia was amazing and added to our vacation experience. Everyone at the resort was kind and friendly. The resort was super clean. We are definetly planning on returning and would highly recommend it as an all inclusive

Paradisus a Paradise in Playa del Carmen
Paradisus worker Cindy made the difference. I don’t know where she got the energy, but she was everywhere, cleaning, hosting and always with the biggest smile. A true ambassador for Paradisus. I really hope her supervisors reward her her for her exceptional service above and beyond. An excellent hostess at Naos buffet and lobby and pool cleaner at the Family Concierge lobby. True service with the biggest SMILE. Cindy should be employee of the week. One person can truly make a difference.

5 STAR EXPERIENCE
I am a repeat customer for one reason only.Customer Service.Roberto the Concierge and Christopher the pool attendant are 5 star.The spectacular grounds do make it easy to return year after year as well.

Service Extraordinaire
It was a BLAST from the beginning to the end. The resort doesn't offer an airport shuttle so we used Otium Transport shared shuttle transfer to and from the resort and it went smoothly. Once you arrive it does take time to check in, so be patient. There is a snack bar in the lobby as well as a bar towards the back. We didn't have to wander because a server appeared with beer and sparkling white wine. We had booked under the Roulette option which means you aren't assigned a room until you arrive. IF you want to be on the adult side I recommend you reserve in advance. We didn't care and ended up in a junior suite on the family side of the resort with an upgrade to the adult only side. It was worth it for the extra quiet, kid free pools and restaurants. Speaking of restaurants, when you arrive a house concierge, we had Estephanie, who was terrific, will take you on a tour of the resort. She answered all of our questions about dining reservations, best place to eat, swim, etc. So even if you don't have a private concierge there is always someone to help. We got lost the first day, and a random staff member walked us back to our side. In our upgrade we did have a concierge, Emmanuel and he was incredible. Emmanuel set up our dinner reservations for the entire stay on the first morning. The resort uses either WhatsApp or Telegram apps for communication with the guests. I didn't want to use an app but I understand it is the easiest way in Mexico to avoid out-of-country charges. I deleted the app as soon as my husband and I left the resort. Emmanuel took care of us every step of the way. One day we came back to our room and found a beautiful straw beach bag - a complementary gift with bottles of resort sunscreen and resort bug spray. You are near mangroves so yes, there are mosquitos. But nothing horrible. There is also sunscreen at the poolside beverage bars in case you forgot yours. The next day, we came back to our room and there was a bottle of champagne, a small cake and card wishing us a happy anniversary. All of this because of Emmanuel.Now on to the M-Bar. We had a bartender, Jesus, who made the best cocktails. My husband enjoyed his Old Fashions, the best! For me, I told Jesus to surprise me, and he came back with a ginger martin. It was all natural, no sugar or syrups added. Giovanni was also behind the bar and was so nice. For our anniversary dinner we went to adults only Sal's Steak. Make a reservation as soon as you arrive & bring your appetite.
