Beautiful resort, excellent food & our room was fantastic. Staff are all extremely friendly, no matter what job they hold. Our concierge, Roberto Vado, was excellent, we couldn’t say enough good things about him. He always looked after us throughout our stay & really cared about how he could make our stay even better. We would highly recommend this resort.

Excellent stay at Paradisus Playa Del Carmen
Our family attended Paradisus Playa Del Carmen. Everything was fantastic from the resort grounds to the food and the rooms. It was very clean. The staff especially our concierge we had made our stay very enjoyable. The kids enjoyed the water park and there were plenty to eat. It was one of the best week we had for an all inclusive resort and we will certainly return again.

About a 50 min buss ride from the airport, my first time going to mexico.My girlfriend has been to mexico over fifteen times and this is her first time staying at this resort as well, excellent food every day at every restaurant and including the buffet Some parts of the resort can use a little repair. But this is not really a party resort.This is more of a family kid friendly resort. Lots of different activities to do thorough the day and night, there are monkeys at this resort. Every morning between 8:30-9:30 every morning.

Fun family vacation, but very cold pools!
Resort is beautiful, and the constant entertainment for kids was unreal! Food was great too. We only have two complaints but this wouldn’t deter us from retaining. One, the pools are not heated and there are no hut tubs, so it’s quite uncomfortable to actually swim (freezing cold water), and this seemed to be a common complaint of other guests during our trip. Second, our room had a jacuzzi on the balcony, but the jets didn’t actually work and the tub was filthy. Other than that, we really enjoyed our time here, and our family concierge, Emmanuel was great with our meal reservations, surprises for our daughter, and overall responsiveness.

Great Stay at Paradisus Playa Del Carmen
We just returned from 6 nights at Paradisus Playa Del Carmen with our 3 kids ages 11, 9 and 6. We had a really enjoyable stay. We loved that the resort was so compact and it was quick to get to everything. The beach was beautiful. We had the family concierge package, which depending on what you pay for it was worth it. We used the family concierge pool and beach a lot. Raymundo and Roderi at the Family concierge bar took good care of us! They knew our drink orders and all of our names (in our group of 10) by the end of the week! Other family concierge perks that we enjoyed was the self serve mimosas, coffee and snacks in the FC building. We spoke to our concierge over whatsapp which was very convenient. He was always available to answer questions for us. They also provided the kids with some little backpacks, toys and beach toys. We found the food really great. We only ate at the buffet for breakfast, the buffet is on the smaller side. For lunch there were a lot of great options, Lunch Box, poolside service and we found the menu of food you could order at Celcius pool bar great! Room service was also really good. Our kids loved the waterpark. It is on the deeper side and the water is strong coming out of the slide so we liked to have lifejackets for them as they did get tired. Lifejackets aren't provided, we brought our own. No alcoholic drinks are served in the waterpark, but you can bring them in from the other bars. But there were snacks there, non-alcoholic drinks and our kids ate a lot of the self serve ice cream! We ate at a la cartes every night, which were pre-booked as we were family concierge and we had no issues getting the reservations we wanted. Our highlight was definitely our adults only meal at Sal Steakhouse. One of the best meals I've ever had. We put our kids in kids club for that - a note that kids club is first come first serve so we had trouble getting all our kids in....also they are very strict on age. My son turned 11 five days earlier and they wouldn't let him go. This resort is very family oriented. I wouldn't recommend the family side if you are just adults. There were a ton of evening activities for kids (bouncy castles, a pinata, games...) Our kids loved the Koi and turtles in the main lobby as well as the ice cream. (They are probably going through Ice Cream withdrawal now) We did the cenote tour with our family. It left at 2 and returned around 5:30. You get to swim in a cenote cave and then there was a zipline and cliff jumping that our kids really enjoyed. We found it worthwhile as it was included with our Family Concierge package. The only cons we had was that they weren't accommodating with putting us in rooms close to our friends and they also didn't tell us until the last day that they couldn't accommodate late checkout as we didn't have to leave the resort until 4pm. But overall a good stay and a great resort!
