  Horrible

  I’ve been here one night, and frankly it’s a joke. Food and service (server) is good, but what a dump! The room is filthy, outdated, and smells like 50 people went into a piss pool and left their crap on the bed! The check in (Star call) service was a flipping joke! I’m so disappointed ! “Star Class” premium drinks are pour your own in a plastic cup of cheap loquor! If I booked directly from PH I’d demand my money back. Unfortunately we’re stuck here for another 5 days! Just gonna meet cool people and drink the days away and change out the humidifier that’s prob hasn’t been cleaned in over 2 months. You’ll be lucky if your WiFi works! I guess it’s an Apple issue’ don’t come here!! Oh yeah if you’re a clean person, you’ll prob want to shower 4 times before you leave the room but the water pressure is horrible! I’ll just jump in the so called lazy river when I wake up! Best of luck

  We would highly recommend staying at the Planet Hollywood Resprt.

  The rooms was very spacious and very clean. Our housekeeper (Freddy) was excellent. The layout was spacious. Our butler (Chris) was excellent, he did an amazing job of booking our dinner reservations and letting us know all the activities at the resort. Chris was very attentive and very friendly and was able to answer any questions we had. Ray our beach butler was amazing and very friendly The area around resort was very clean and accessible. We stayed close to the nightly entertainment so it loud until 10pm. Which was no problem we enjoyed listening to the music. Overall noise wasn't a problem for us. The star class is worth the extra cost ss the staff were amazing. The PH Spa staff were really good. Vanessa my massage therapist was amazing and very good. The price was fair for the Star Class experience.

  7 nights at PH

  My friend and I went to Planet Hollywood for 7 nights for her birthday. Overall experience was good. The day before we left we woke up to our bathroom flooded from the room upstairs. Water was dripping from the light fixture. The maintenance and housekeeping were quick to respond and fixed the issue immediately. Food at the buffet was just alright though the restaurants were very good and easy to book reservations on the app. Diego bartender at the pool bar was GREAT and honestly made our week. He was friendly, fast and always remembered our drinks and made sure we always taken care of. He even said goodbye to us in the lobby when we were checking out. Diego you are a star !!!!!!

  Absolute paradise!

  First of all, we were really worried about the number of negative reviews about the hotel and even considered changing hotels. The day we arrived, all of that changed. We were so glad that we dicided to stay put and I'm honestly at a loss as to where the hotel gets it's bad rep from. We stayed for 2 weeks and everything was absolutely perfect! We arrived early evening and the check in process (Star Class) was so quick and smooth. We immediately felt like royalty. After we were checked in, this is where the exceptionalities start - we were greeted by Jerry, one of our butlers (the other was Yomelly - more about him shortly). Jerry was so polite, professional and friendly. These pair come highly recommended and if you were lucky enough to have these as your butlers, you'd struck gold - and we did! Jerry escorted us via a golf buggy to our block and then up to our (absolutely outstanding!!) room where our luggage arrived via the bellhop. Gave us all the information we could possibly need to make our stay as enjoyable as possibly, and even set up a WhatsApp group to stay in touch with us all, provide information on daily activities and most importantly, to sort out our dinner reservations. This process is absolutely seemless! The next day we had the pleasure of meeting our other butler - Yomelly (they rotate days and nights every week). Yomelly is a character and just like Jerry, is extremely helpful, kind and professional. They both work so well together and we've heard stories about other butlers who don't fulfil half of their promises, but these two - nothing is too much and a quick message in the group, any issues or anything you needed was sorted very quickly. Yomelly would quite often come and visit us in the evenings just to make sure everything was okay and if we needed anything, just ask - and you get the feeling that the service they both provide is purely due to their love of the job. Yes, the financial reward of tips plays a part, but you get an amazing service regardless. Anyway, enough about these two legends, let talk about the hotel and facilities.... Rooms (star class, Block 11) Amazing. Very spacious, clean, tidy and very well looked after. Bed is massive, balcony was overlooking the adults only pool and was equipped with everything you could need (minibar - topped up daily, snacks, coffee machine, a large TV, slippers and a robe, as well as a couple of complimentary gifts). The maids done an amazing job of keeping our rooms clean, fresh and tidy on a very regular basis. People had previously mentioned issues with damp so we brought some hanging dehumidifiers but honestly didn't need them - possibly due to the time of year where the humidity level is lower. We found using the ceiling fan at night rather than the aircon helped with this. Facilities 3 large pools - Adults only, Star Class (family) and then a non Star Class family pool. All the pools have loads of sunbeds but these do fill up quickly (usually before 8am), but we did find that the Star Class pool wasn't so bad - there were still some beds available after 9am and then some would become available throughout the day. Can't comment on the family pool, but both the Star Class and Adults only pools both have swim-up bars - and I couldn't write a review without mentioning Miguel - this guy is one of the happiest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. He quite often says he's on vacation every day of the year which shows how much he loves his job - nothing was ever too much for him and he's always up for having a chat with anyone. Bars are all well stocked with premium spirits and a cocktail menu is available but they can make you pretty much anything you ask for. There are a couple of Star Class lounges too where you can help yourself to food and drink which are a great addition for a pre-meal drink/snack. Food/Dining This place has a significant amount of a la carte restaurants and they are all absolutely amazing. Very easy to book - if you are Star Class, your butler will do this for you so it's super easy. The buffet restaurants also offer a huge variety of food, to suit all dietary requirements and for a buffet restaurant, the food was really, really good. Fresh fish and meat, cooked in front of you, to your liking. Pizza, salad bar, pasta, burgers, steaks, the lot! And a HUGE selection of desserts to choose from too. I've probably missed loads of things but theres honestly so much to do here. There are times when it feels like you are in a shopping mall rather than a hotel based on the number of restaurants and bars there are, as well as a cinema, arcade, gym, basket ball courts, pickleball courts on the roof, beach games, lazy river, water park for the kids. Our experience here has been nothing short of perfect and i would highly recommend it. To recap - people worthy of mentioning. Jerry & Yomelly - Butlers Miguel - Barman That being said, everyone made our stay amazing, pool servers, waiters/waitresses in the bars/restaurants - even the check in staff and groundskeepers. Everyone is so happy and friendly. One of the best value for money places I've ever stayed and honestly, feel I've had more than my money's worth.   AMAZING service!

  We had the best time in the star class pool with Luisa. She was engaging with games and learned all our names. We ran into her everyday after we met her all around the resort and she always remembered us and said hello! We also had amazing service from Miguel at the swim up bar and Nelly our pool side waitress! Lucia and Alonzo were amazing in our Cabana for the day, brought us everything we needed! Enrique and Juan THE BEST room butlers go star class! Cannot rave enough about the service here!!
