  Unsatisfactory

  I have stayed on the Riviria / Sunset side a total of 6 times. We decided to check out the adult side this year and I was very disappointed the moment I walked in the lobby to check in. WE PAID MORE FOR LESS. Usually we have a more of a private check in due to booking Platinum. The staff was not as friendly or very informative. The elevators dis not work for the entire week. Anytime we had a request it took 45 minutes or more for someone to show up if they even showed up. The rooms were smaller. We went down to the beach and there was not really one so we wandered down to the Platinum section and was told we could not be there because it wasn't for Yuctan Platinum. For it being an Adult only resort the atmosphere seemed like it was a senior citizens resort.

  Extremely Disappointing – Not Even Close to a 5-Star Experience

  Stayed in the Deluxe Platinum Room 4025 from October 25 through November 1, 2026. Unfortunately, for a hotel that advertises itself as a 5-star resort, our experience was extremely disappointing. Based on the condition of the room, cleanliness of the property, and overall resort experience, this hotel fell far short of what we expected. The Cons: The rooms are in serious need of updating, deep cleaning, and general maintenance. The condition of our room was unacceptable for a hotel claiming to be 5-star. * Bathroom faucets were filthy, mirrors were not properly cleaned, and the tile floors were covered in scratches with extremely dirty grout lines. * The headboards had visible tears, and the bedside tables were stained. * The doors to the rooms had excessively large gaps underneath, creating openings where rodents and insects entered. * The exterior patio lounge chairs were badly yellowed and appeared neglected. * The bed was extremely uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. * Several lights in the room did not work, and the air vents were filthy. * The Wi-Fi consistently disconnected, making it frustrating to stay connected. * The mini-fridge was enclosed inside a cabinet that was too small to allow the refrigerator door to open properly. The front desk experience was equally disappointing. Both check-in and checkout took an unreasonable amount of time, and the staff we encountered were not particularly pleasant or welcoming. The overall layout of the resort was poorly designed and inconvenient. One of our biggest disappointments was the lack of an actual beach. Despite the resort’s beach setting, there is literally no beach to enjoy. The smaller pool closest to the beach area also needs attention. The pool tiles require repairs, and the lounge chairs and tables were not being cleaned as frequently as they should be. The pool umbrellas were filthy and falling apart. These are basic maintenance and cleanliness issues that should never be overlooked at a resort advertising itself as 5-star. The Pros: To give credit where it is due, the Hibachi restaurant, Rodeo Grill, and buffet were decent and provided some of the decent experiences during our stay. Overall Experience: Unfortunately, the positives were not enough to make up for the many disappointments. From the outdated and poorly maintained room to the lack of cleanliness, uncomfortable accommodations, unreliable Wi-Fi, disappointing front desk service, and poorly maintained pool areas, this resort simply did not deliver the experience we expected. A 5-star rating should reflect a certain level of quality, cleanliness, service, and attention to detail. This property fell well below those expectations. We spent an entire week here and left feeling disappointed rather than relaxed and refreshed. We will not be returning, and based on our experience, we would not recommend this resort to anyone expecting a true 5-star vacation.

  Best entertainment team EVER

  Mt partner and I had an amazing time there. We have nho complaints but the best part about our stay was the staff... Luna, Gordon Ramsey, Alia, and Johnny were amazing.. Our bartender at the pool ( I forgt his name) always had our drinks ready with a smile before we even got to the bar... We had amazing service and look forward to returning... Please let Luna know that Tara and Travis say THANK YOU for aking our time so enjoyable and we are sad that we did not get to say goodbye as she was not there on our last day

  LOUD PERSONAL MUSIC - biggest problem

  I would encourage guests to not IMPOSE their personal music on other guests. Please use your earphones. If you experience such a situation, go directly to the concierge, they will deal directly with that guest with a security guard. We did not have any problems with anything else, except the very loud music at the "quiet" pool. There is another pool that has a multitude of activities and loud music. The hotel supplies music at the "quiet" pool, but the level of the sound is controlled. Room - nice and clean. Buffet - for breakfast and lunch varied and good. Restaurants à la carte - very good. Beach - during our week - we had no sargassum Seaweed. I would recommend this hotel.

  Entertainment group

  Huge shoutout to - Martin, Luna, Malu, Elia, Rhamz, and Jony were all amazing. They were so friendly, fun, and always brought the best energy to the resort. They made every activity enjoyable and really made our stay that much better. Such a great group of people and a huge part of what made our trip so memorable!
