Average at best
What a beautiful resort and beach however I was disappointed with the food quality that reminded me of an all you can eat cheap cafeteria. Regardless of the outlet or restaurant all were unimpressive. In the steak theme restaurant I witnessed many patrons not eating or returning their steak for various reasons. The main buffet had plenty of food options for each meal period however the food had been prepared hours ago leaving it dry, overcooked and in general tasteless. If you go to the beach there is a bar however don’t expect a beachfront food menu or mush in the way of beverage service. You are best going and getting your own beverage and don’t expect friendly service at the beach bar. That is not going to happen. The lack of warm, welcoming customer service is lacking everywhere. Maybe the staff doesn’t understand how much their jobs are dependent of guests and tourists. The resort front desk normally has friendly and warm staff and personalities, nope not here. And don’t be one minute late checking out of your room. The door locks will be disabled requiring you to make the long journey to the front desk and interrupt their day to make you a temporary room key. All, is not so dismal. There is one star. Israel, the Bell Captain. Everyday he greeted me with a warm smile and addressed me by name. Israel, is the epitome of hospitality and he is a wonderful example of an ambassador for the resort. As I departed the hotel I mentioned to Israel that when i built my resort he will be the General Manager.

Javier was the best!!
Had a great time here. Rooms were spacious and nice. Javier really made the week he was fantastic! There is an ice-cream shop on the Sunset Princess side that he would drive us over to each evening and he was such a blast! The food was great, the hostess team with Karen and Armando really made it a great experience. Went diving while I was there and Julieta did a great getting everything setup and Milda was a fantastic dive instructor.

Very poor.
This is a very poor experience with construction noise, bad food , rocky weedy beach and not top shelf drinks. Only half full for a reason despite them posting otherwise . No where near a 4/5 star resort and definitely spend your hard earned dollars elsewhere. I don’t lie and this is the truth.
