  A five stars relaxing and healthy experience

  I am based in Paris France. Traveling as a solo woman the experience was excellent in this hotel . My goals ? Find a very beautiful, peaceful and safe hotel with 5 stars experience. I had the relaxing experience I was expecting and more : clean, safe, beautiful. I really enjoyed the SPA, specially the professional massage by Mrs. Deymi, after my SPA sessions I was beyond relaxed. I enjoyed so much Mrs Deymi 50 minutes massage, so I came back to the SPA and tried the hidro massage. It is great to improve my sleep quality and my muscles relaxation. All the hotel personal was really professional , always gentle and listening to my needs. I had a health issue during my sejour and I was so glad to be in that hotel, because they had a doctor there. Dr; Hector came to my room to make sure anything seripus was going on, and he also provided prescription and the needed drugs : I was recovered Next Day. The doctor was able to understand my what my French drugs were and what I needed. The rest of the guest in the hotel were trqnauile families . I never had noise problems, or anything disturbing. The hotel is gay people friendly, and multicultural friendly , clients were so diverse and respectful and tranquile. During this trip I stayed 6 days only in this hotel. I was able to reconnect with myself, rebalance my sleeping , start a sport rutine : I started here new healthy and relaxing habits. I want to come back !

  Best beach and hospitality

  My boyfriend and I had such a great experience staying at this hotel. The beach is stellar, definitely for a reason rated as the best beach in the city. The service was great. I want to personally highlight Antonio De la Riva Jocabed Barrera who was always welcoming and made the best cappuccinos :) This hotel was definitely a great find and we hope to visit it again if traveling to Cancun.

  Disappointing experience

  Booked to stay for family of 6 for 5 nights. Nothing like any International we’ve visited or stayed before. Rooms are very basic and need some repair. intercontinental lounge access was also pretty basic . Pool on first day was closed for private event , and later that night music went on until 3am, for same event. When enquired about the late night music was told don’t worry we’ve no more events this weeks We decided to spend as much time away from the hotel as possible. When we did use the pool the level of chemical treatment is very strong as was the push by the towel attendant to sell you trips, including to the children.

  Dated rooms and inconsistentent service. Rules changed in 4 days. Chose another resort.

  Stayed twice in same room type in July and then 4 days later in August. Rules changed between the 2 reservations! When we stayed in July, we were told at check-in that water in the rooms was free and unlimited. That is the least I would expect when booking an ocean front suite with lounge access. We came back in August (4 days later) now we are told its 2 bottles of water per room. We are 3 adults and in a city where temps are 35C. Such poor and inconsistent service amongst the staff. Really? This is exceptionally petty and it seems focus is on charging for EVERYTHING. A lot of high end resorts globally provide water free of charge on the beach and the room. Not Cancun. The lounge is only open for breakfast and from 6-8pm for cocktails and canapés. There is absolutely NOTHING available outside these hours. All other lounges normally provide soft drinks, biscuits and tea and coffee throughout the day. Would I recommend the lounge? Possibly not. Chose another hotel.
