Jan 15, 2026Very quiet and private, safe place.
This place is well hidden from the downtown area/party places. It's very safe (card accessed gates) and quiet. The hotel staff was very welcoming and friendly. The property is nicely up kept and we had a view over the pool, looking at the ocean! The guests, that's something the hotel cannot control (we had some one that would love to walk around at 2am above us for some reason) but otherwise very quiet. A few things to note Bring mosquito spray (well our room had some but bring more!) If you're not a decent driver, you'll be going slowly up the hill and the curves, it could be a bit challenging but I had a blast.

Great rooms, fantastic staff and amenities. Peaceful and homey. Lovely pool, great views, nice small workout room. Lots of stairs for additional fitness. Ask if the unit has working W/D, this would be a plus.

Princess Heights Is Our Home Away From Home Since 2013
Since 2013, my wife and I visited Princess Heights Hotel five times, and each stay feels like coming back to our true home away from home. This hotel offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea and the Island of St. Barth — a view that made working remotely for two weeks an absolute joy. Every room is designed for extended stays, featuring a spacious fridge, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a full set of dinnerware and silverware. Just stock your fridge with fresh finds from nearby markets and Super U French and enjoy home-cooked meals with a stunning backdrop. The room cleaning personnel deliver fantastic service. Our rooms were always sparkling clean and left perfectly fresh with a delightful scent after every cleaning — a true mark of care and attention to detail. Hotel internet connection is enough reliable; I was able to work remotely without any hiccups — perfect for teleconferencing and even software development. Balancing work and paradise have never been easier. Renting a car is a must to make the most of your visit to this part of the island. The hotel’s tranquil location is tucked away from the hustle, so having a car gives you access to beautiful beaches, restaurants, and both the Dutch and French sides of the island, and most important for us trips to French grocery store Super U (just 10 km drive). Princess Heights is ideal for travelers who want to escape noisy party scenes. The serene pool area and quiet surroundings make it perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation. If you are seeking spacious, well-appointed accommodation with all the comforts of home, breathtaking views, plus the ability to work remotely, Princess Heights Hotel is an unbeatable choice. A hidden gem
The area was both beautiful and peaceful. The room was immaculately clean and smelled great as you entered. The staff provided exceptional customer service. The only thing, I'd recommend is that you rent a car for the duration of your stay as its a bit far out

2 Night stay on East coast of island ” Me and my husband spent 2 nights here before going to the Cupecoy area of the island. You will definitely need a vehicle at this location. The hotel is on top of a huge hill so a car is ideal. The view from the balcony was nice. The view from the pool was lovely as well. The pool was nice and large enough to swim and the even had a diving board (which I tried at 45 yo) and a slide that I’m sure kids would love. Nice bathroom and nice size TV. The value for what you get is great. The only issue we had was our flight was delayed and we didn’t arrive until about 730pm after getting our rental and food. And the office was closed. We drove around and had no clue where to go and the numbers I googled no one answered. Luckily a live-in worker was outside with her dogs and I walked down this flight of stairs and seen her and she called security who let us in. But to arrive late with no clue what to do was stressful for a few mins, but after we were in it was great. Would return for sure for the value/price point.
