  Relaxed, romantic vacation

  This trip was perfect! The rooms were clean and well stocked and the staff checked in regularly to see if we needed anything. The food was great at every restaurant we checked out(Siempre, Peninsula, Quivira, and room service. The pool beds fill up fast but we were able to find one every day we were there with a little effort. All the staff we encountered were kind and efficient but my favorite place to hang out was Peninsula Beach bar with Israel, Fernando, and Javier. They took extra special care of us and made our experience wonderful. Luis Guerrero was our server at Peninsula for dinner and that was also a top tier experience. Definitely will visit again!

  This place is great! There are no kids allowed. The staff is exceptional catering to your every need. The fun activities are great and the views impeccable watch the whales!

  Will be back!

  Wow! From check in to reservations to check out everything was amazing. Towers is a must! VIP lounge is worth it alone! Ariel, Luis, yoana, and the rest of the staff are so friendly and will go above a beyond for you! Food was delicious! Itamar and Rodrigo were amazing butlers and helped with everything we needed. Rene and Manuel at the pool are amazing!! Will be back! Room service was fast and delicious! Tip well and they will take care of you!

  A week at the Pacifica

  We returned from a seven day all inclusive at the PB Pacifica. It was our first time with this chain and we had heard fantastic reviews when booking last year but had some concerns upon reading recent reviews. I will endeavour to break this down into feedback and also tips/information for future travellers. The resort itself is lovely and quaint. It is about 50 min from the airport and I strongly recommend booking private transport to and from. By doing group, you are adding potentially 1-2 hrs with having to stop at the hotels along the way as this is pretty much the last resort on the west side of Cabo. Checkin was smooth however we did miss a welcome beverage (I was prepared for this from reading previous reviews), it’s a nice touch that is extremely inexpensive and the resort should consider reintroducing this to set the tone of hospitality at the highest level. We also note they only had one staff member working and the line-up for check in and other guests who needed assistance was about 12 people deep and moved slowly at 4 pm. For supper at this resort, every restaurant requires a reservation. Even the “buffet”. I knew this was the case coming in so I had the app downloaded and ready to go and started making reservations while my husband completed the check in. I was not able to find any reservations for that day and the staff member assisted me by calling Simpiere and making us a reservation for 5 pm even though the app showed full. The room was clean and lovely however I was disappointed that the only alcohol selections in room were beer. There was also no complimentary snacks. This is the first high end resort I’ve stayed at with no chips or peanuts or something in the room. Again this is a small touch that would be inexpensive to ownership that would go a long way if implemented. The food here is tremendous. Every restaurant was high quality and delicious. Please do yourselves a favour and go to the Quivera clubhouse for breakfast one day. No reservations and the shuttle is very quick and easy. It is a menu’d breakfast and the food was spectacular. The shuttle is easy to book on the app and we utilized it to book to go into town from the sunset for dinner at the Rose and it was comfortable and on time. Pools are wonderful here - our main server Francisco was among the best we have ever had at an AI. The drinks and food were alway accurate and quick and we never had to flag anyone down. If you are interested in a cabana, get on the list upon arrival. We ended up getting one our last day for 40 USD and it was a nice switch up. This resort does not have a swimmable beach which may bother some, but we are more pool people so it wasn’t an issue for us. If ocean swims are your thing, take the shuttle to Sunset and then the Rose and swim there for the day. We were able to see whales splashing every day from the pool which was a special experience. Overall this resort is very quiet and peaceful. It was the perfect vibe for us as we enjoy a relaxing atmosphere. Other guests were friendly but also more introverted and this was absolutely not a resort with a party atmosphere or raucous behaviour. Some brief pros and cons; Pros Friendly service, everyone in every role at the Pacifica had a smile and was pleasant and helpful Minimal time share pressure - only approached once at our Quivera breakfast and the lady buzzed off immediately after we said no Housekeeping always had rooms made up before noon which we loved Immaculate grounds Good quality drinks - most top shelf liquors are included despite previous reviews, the super high end stuff is extra (ex grey goose), but I did not get one drink all week that was house vodka and they were all made with Stoli as requested Easily walkable Chairs available by the pools fairly easily, not a ton of pool hags Cons; A few times we had cold food. Fries by the pool and chicken wings at Pescados. We felt we had poor service off resort at both Asian restaurants at Sunset and Fellini’s at Rose, servers were friendly but overall were not efficient - we sat without water for 30 min despite asking for a refill at Zao Shen and the girl assigned to our table for water was not able to tell me where the washroom was. Not the biggest deal, but small areas for improvement. Overall, we loved this resort and will return. Highly recommend for couples who want quiet elegance and high quality food and drink.
