FYI internet only free with all inclusive. All inclusive not required for a great stay - rental car makes it easy to get food and go out to restaurants all over Baja.

Jan 10, 2026Great location & food but need to work on service
Traveled for New Years with wife & teenage kids. Location is fantastic! Exactly as you see in the pictures. Beach was busy but security staff kept everything safe on property. Rooms were a bit tired. Furnishings could benefit from a refresh and room overall felt a bit stale. Pools & gym was in nice shape. Food was better than my expectations for a mid-caliber all-inclusive. Fellini's was honestly really great for dinner and well worth the small upcharge. Service at restaurants, beach, and from bell desk was great. The convenience of room service was really nice as well. The main issue we experienced was with the front desk & housekeeping. Although the room was left very clean, it was never left with any towels (bath towel, hand towel, or wash cloth). This forced us to request these every day from the front desk. Responsiveness to that request varied. The first day, towels were brought up. The second day, I had to request 3-4x but still never got the towels. I got varying stories from the front desk as to why. This feels like such a basic item that the difficulty in getting them is still head scratching. There are mixed feelings on whether or not we'd return. It's unfortunate as this property is in a prime location and the food quality & dining service was really quite good... but a handful of underwhelming things that seem small all add up to create just an "average" experience.

The front gate attendants (morning of 1/4/2026) are rude and make it difficult to enter the resort even if you are staying at the hotel. The food is also terrible.

we have stayed here on many occasions over the years and will continue to return. The property is beautiful, well maintained, and the staff is very friendly. You also get the benefit of the other Pueblo Bonito properties in Cabo San Lucas, you have Blanco, which is connected to it, and there is a shuttle that runs to Sunset Beach property and the adjacent property up there whose name escapes me. You can use all of them. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed time
Even though the resort is and older resort and our dates we had the best time. The beds were not very comfortable, hard and worn. We had some issues with ants. Other than that the shower had great pressure. Loved that they cleaned the rooms everyday. The staff was great and helpful. The location was amazing, close to town. Ultimately, we didn’t care that it was older, we definitely had the best time and would stay there again.
