Needs improvement
The location of the resort was beautiful perched on hills overlooking the ocean. We had booked through Expedia for 3 adults. When we checked in, the male receptionist didn’t ask which type of room we preferred and because it was an all inclusive we wore wrist bands. He never bothered to have us tap the electronic box to put our room number on our bracelet which meant we could not enter our room. After lugging our suitcases to the room, we had to return to reception to have our bracelets with the room code. The first room they gave us was a king size bed for 3 adults which was not what we paid for. Finally, we were given 2 queen beds and the proper wristband with codes. Our room had an ocean view which was stunning. Our beds though were very old and uncomfortable. The towels were the worst rough towels I have ever had in a hotel. The promised bottle of sparkling wine and truffles were not in our refrigerator. Germain who brought our luggage via golf cart to the room was exceptional and helped us a lot. The central market has a great selection of food and beverages. Improve reception and the beds and towels and your rating will increase.

Samuel at the Spa
Samuel was outstanding at customer service. He always had a smile on his face and remembered our names and room number daily. He went above and beyond to make sure our reservations were correct and we had a great experience.

La Frida is the best restaurant in Cabo!
My husband and I are here on our Babymoon and tried La Frida tonight. It was absolutely the best restaurant with the most delicious food and amazing staff. We can’t recommend it enough, you have to try it!

Enjoyable stay
We really enjoyed our stay, location is nice, very relaxing. Lots of restaurants to choose from, food was great, but the drinks not so much, they were either very weak or not that good.

Great property but inclusive vs non inclusive option did not provide a smooth experience
We loved the property and the location. The service was impeccable. Especially Carlos and Angel at the main pool were friendly and great. But what was really annoying is that you had to always had to “pay” for the food because the property does allow for non all inclusive option. At times, this had added such a long wait to either get your food or drinks. Nothing wrong with that approach, but next time we will only stay at the all inclusive property so we wouldn’t have to deal with this. We didn’t mind this property being built on a hill and enjoy the evening strolls, but if you’re hard of walking, you could take golf carts to get around but will require wait times to get the cart. Also, we didn’t appreciate so many times not being part of all inclusive and almost an up charge on everything. We didn’t appreciate paying $50 a person just to get a reservation at an all inclusive restraints that included an up change on food and drinks. Also, you have to pay extra to get room service. Although nominal $5, but it adds up. So if you’re looking to save money, non-inclusive option is great but for all i inclusive option, it falls short of other priorities that do much better job with this. We came during Christmas time and the property was full. So we had to get up at 7 in the morning just to get pool chairs. Cabanas were an additional $130 a day. So it seems the property does try to optimize and up charging its clients rather than providing a pleasant and hassle free experience.
