TOTAL SUCCESS
What a 10 day stay, we enjoyed every single minute of it. The staff are all so pleasant and friendly we enjoyed our 50th wedding celebration why we were there and they decorated our room and treated us very kindly indeed. There was entertainment if required or quiet areas also all in all a TOTAL successful holiday, see you later Alexander and all super staff.

Great place to relax!
My husband and I have been to many Princess Resorts and this is the first time that we went to the Punta Cana Princess. The staff here is amazing and they truly treat you like family. The set up was perfect! Everything was within walking distance. We enjoyed the buffet and the restaurant options included Tex Mex, Italian , Fondue and Seafood. The fondue was our favorite- we went there twice! We also went to the sister resort to eat at the Teppanayki Grill and also the Brazilian restaurant which had a rodizio menu. Both were yummy! Alexander at the front desk bent over backwards to ensure that we had a great stay. The rooms could use some updating and he was fast and responsive to fix the slight issues that we had. He was always checking in with us to ensure that we were enjoying our vacation. Can't wait to go back !

Staff and beach: 10/10
To start, this resort has wonderful staff and beautiful grounds. The beach is gorgeous with a lot of seating under shaded palapas and umbrellas by the pool. The best spot in the afternoon was under the beautiful seagrape tree. You were close to the bar, restaurant, beach, pool and restrooms! Not only that, it had the best shade and breeze. If you are looking for a very laid back atmosphere, you got it! That's unfortunately where the best stuff ends. At check in, they tried to sell a 5 day VIP bracelet for $350 per couple that would get you premium liquors i.e Jack Daniels, Jim Beam, etc as well as wifi and room service. We didn't upgrade, and we're happy we didn't. While we're not picky, the buffet food was mediocre at best. We didn't go hungry but weren't impressed with the options or variety. The dinner restaurants were definitely better and you did not need reservations so that was a plus. Drinks were mostly overly sweet like any other all inclusive. The activities personnel tried hard to get participation in pool side games but besides that there isn't much entertainment. Evening music/games in the lobby at 9:30 nightly is what is offered. We heard that this resort will soon undergo some much needed renovations, and I'm glad to hear that. Our room had a nice layout however, our first rooms shower drain was clogged and flooded the room. Our toilet would not flush and our phone was broken so we couldn't call for maintenance. Finally after a couple of trips to the lobby, they changed our room to another down the hall. This one also had toilet flushing issues and a broken phone. After several more trips to the lobby with requests and then complaints, the manager finally sent staff to fix the toilet. They changed it out completely and it did eventually work but our room smelled like sewage for the rest of the trip. Neither room had a working phone or TV but that was the least of our problems. That said, we traveled with two other couples that didn't have the bad luck that we did. Their rooms were dated but in working order. The only thing they mentioned was the lack of toilet/shower/bathroom privacy. There are frosted doors on the shower and toilet room but leave little to the imagination. I think the staff tries really hard to make your stay enjoyable but the resort could use a good amount of tlc. They decorated our room with balloons for my husbands birthday which was really nice. We met a few people who have been to this resort several times and admit that it is "tired" but love that they are treated like family. We have been to several all inclusive resorts and this one is not at the top of our list but it's all in what you make of it. Expect the worst and hope for the best and you may not be disappointed!

Punta Cana Princess All Suites - Adults only
Rooms are getting dated & food is average - water pressure in the shower is not very good We upgraded to VIP, which allowed for the private beach - The VIP beach alone was worth the price of the upgrade - we never had to worry about fighting/reserving a chair at the beach + they had comfortable double cabanas at the VIP beach Alexander (Guest services) gets 5 stars for his assistance and has a great demeaner - we used WhatsApp to communicate, and his service was outstanding. Yaicol (beach waiter) also gets 5 stars - he was not only fun to be with, but we looked forward to talking to him every day - he taught us Spanish and we reciprocated with English - we made a new friend 🧡 Luis helped with room service & was very nice to deal with - thx Luis

We have a crew of people we love at this resort!!!
Persio bare (I may have spelled it wrong) is amazing and his music choice is also our favourite -(meringue jazz? Ish) we have met with him multiple times over 3 years at the beach bars. His music inspired our wedding music. He happily accepts hugs, offers smiles/sings. His version of popular drink choices are unique and yummy! -if only we can get rid of the string lights they put up last year! the little beach bar was better with less light! However it’s still one of our favourite spots due to him and the tree! Lots of ❤️Cassandra and Steve
