Hotel was nice. At the end of Waikiki near the zoo my daughter got a killer view of the zoo and Diamond Head. Our view sucked. City view. The buildings around weren’t in great shape. Crap all over peoples balcony. Kept one of the blinds closed so wouldn’t have to look at. Only issue with room was the tub, would not drain so kind of grossed me out. Other than that staff was great actually staff were wonderful.

Decent hotel located right beside Waikiki beach. Very quiet. My family stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. Very kind and courteous staff. It would’ve been nice for the room to have a few tea bags/coffee though. Housekeepers kept our room very clean. Room was small, and beds were quite smaller than (queen beds looked like double), but mostly comfortable.

Fine until housekeeping went into our room and collected our belongings. Core we checked out. Items missing, either thrown away or taken. Management offered an apology but no attempt at making it right. Horrible experience and would not recommend staying to family or friends. Much better accommodations throughout Waikiki to choose from.

True Aloha
I had a wonderful experience here. I had a prolonged stay and every day the staff was unfailingly kind and professional. The bellhops, valet staff, front desk, custodial staff, coffee shop and restaurant staff, literally everyone was great every day. And I was here for over a month so that says something. I even went to another hotel and immediately came back because Queen Kapiolani was just better. Great third spaces with the second floor gym and sitting area. Nice coffee shop. Awesome braised ribs at Deck. Pool is small but well maintained. So close to the beach, extremely convenient. Very pet friendly. Our Australian shepherd had an awesome time. Shout out to every single person here who was nice to me and my family. Theresa, Kawai, John, Angel, Christian, Kaimi, Zoran, Nathan, Gerald, and everyone else. Thank you. I would stay here a million more times.
