  PARADISE

  I normally do not write reviews and I have traveled the world and stayed at some pretty great places. I am writing this review because my experience at the Reef deserves some spotlight. I am literally at the airport writing this . So here goes. I spent 5 days and 4 nights at The Reef Atlantis, and I am not sure what other people’s experiences have been, but my experience along with my 8 year old son was absolutely stellar from arrival to checkout. The front desk staff, Aaron, Craig, and Deon, were amazing, welcoming, and prompt. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we felt taken care of. Our first night, we arrived late, but we were still able to have dinner at José Andrés Fish. The food and staff were amazing. Daron was our server, he was pleasant, attentive, and made sure we had a great time. We had breakfast almost daily at The Perch, where we were greeted with warm smiles and excellent service. Food is delicious and we had different fare daily. Anishka, Samantha, and another server whose name I unfortunately can’t remember were all amazing. We also had breakfast at Poseidon’s Table, which offered a rich assortment of food. It’s a buffet-style, all-you-can-eat option that I think is especially great for families. Leanna, our server, was once again awesome, warm, and attentive. We also stopped into the Escape Cove Boutique, where I purchased a souvenir for my mom. Once again, the customer service was excellent. The client advisor was incredibly kind and patient with my son, who was fascinated by a beautiful Swarovski crystal car. It was an amazing piece of artwork, and I was initially a little hesitant to have it taken out of the case. However, the client advisor was so accommodating. She carefully took it out so my son could look at it up close and even take pictures. My son eventually picked out a beautiful bag for my mom from among the boutique’s gorgeous selection of items and accessories. I really appreciated how the client advisor made my son feel included and comfortable throughout the experience. It was such a small interaction, but it was one of those moments that made our stay even more special. What stood out to me most throughout our stay was the genuine warmth of the staff. They consistently greeted us with smiles and kindness. I did not experience the rude behavior mentioned in some of the other reviews. In fact, everyone—and I mean everyone—said good morning, good afternoon, and good evening. We were always asked, “How is your stay?” That level of hospitality really made a difference. Our room was clean and immaculate. Housekeeping did a great job and made our stay very comfortable. We stayed on a lower floor, but we still had a good view, and for my son and I it was perfect. The beaches were clean and beautiful, and there were lifeguards throughout the various beaches on the property, which gave me peace of mind. My 8-year-old had a great time at Aquaventure and really enjoyed himself. Security was also ever-present throughout the resort, which made us feel safe and comfortable. Any questions I had were answered thoroughly, and I found it easy to navigate the property. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at The Reef Atlantis. My only regret is that I could not stay longer! I said to my son what did you think of us returning he goes "MUDDDASSSICCKK!!". He even learned some Bahamian sayings. Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay such a memorable one. From the front desk to the restaurants, housekeeping, beach staff, and even the boutique, we experienced kindness and excellent customer service throughout our entire stay. I would absolutely return!

  Can never go wrong the reef

  Stayed at the reef one bedroom suite, Oceanview room. Everything was perfect enough space for a family of four full kitchen was able to make my own drinks and serve breakfast to the kids. Waterpark was fantastic beach clean as always best advice bring some rice for the fish in the ocean.

  Great beginning of low season / end of summer getaway before the start of school

  The 1-bedroom Topaz Suite at The Reef was well appointed and appeared clean. The view was amazing. Great amenities. Expanded deck was wonderful. We did, unfortunately, encounter roaches within the first hour of entering the suite - opened the cabinet holding glasses and a live one fell out. We were headed out to buy supplies and snacks anyway, so bought a can of roach spray. Ended up significantly spraying down the kitchen multiple days - basically used the whole can over a 4 night stay. Each morning after a spray we would find 2 - 4 dead roaches. Found one in the primary bathroom's toilet room and sprayed it and area - didn't see anymore in there. Be sure to scour the entire room / suite prior to unpacking and settling in so that you can easily change rooms, if needed. Beach, pool, waterslides, Fish restaurant, Perch restaurant for breakfast, Sea Glass Lounge for after hours cocktails, FISH for delicious lunch!!, were all exceptional -- even though everything was much pricier than the US - which we were warned about, but still hit a little hard. Would still go back and would just be mindful about how to check for unwanted additional guests in the rooms.

  Over Priced MId Level Resort

  Place was over priced for what we spent. Staff needs work. Cooks need work. I would Prob not go back. Never got upgraded. Very dissapinted,

  Atlantis Delivers

  This was our first time in the Bahamas and at Atlantis. Overall we had a wonderful stay at the resort. The Reef 1-Bedroom Suite was clean, spacious and felt modern. All of our experiences at Restaurants, Water Park, Pools and Transportation were met with friendly and professional staff members. Yes prices are high, but that was to be expected and we felt the value and quality of the food was better than we had expected. We would certainly return in the future for another vacation!
