Not very relaxing
Overall, I would say the resort is just okay. Food is nothing special although they did have a really great dinner on New Year's Eve. The entertainment staff does their best. There is a swim-up bar but no one bartending down at the pool. You had to get out and line up at the top section. Occasionally they would bring your drink down. Our major complaint was upon arrival at 11:30pm we were told that we did not have a room. They said that the air conditioner had leaked causing the ceiling to fall down in the one reserved for us. I am pretty sure that was a lie and that they had simply overbooked the hotel knowing there was room at their sister resort. We were shipped off in a taxi to the other resort, fifteen minutes away and told that they would likely have a room by noon but no guarantee. We were "upgraded" to premium for our trouble but there really didn't seem to be much benefit for us. Our stay was only for 4 nights and we spent one at a different resort. So only two and half days at our actual resort. Not relaxing and I definitely would never stay here again. It seems from other reviews, this is not the first time they have pulled this stunt......I should have taken them seriously.

Heaven again! Lucky me!
Another massage on the beach with NADIA. Made it a double! Two hours with her very highly skilled hand and I was almost jelly when finished!! She is amazing to say the least. I waited a whole year to see her again…totally worth the wait. And she recognized me instantly!!! That was so nice. Thank you Nadia. I hope to see you next year! I hope you liked the little gift I made you! Email me! Hug, Mary Jane

Save your money and find a better resort!
Just my personal POV, save your money and find a better resort! We traveled with friends and 3 pre-teens. Booked all-inclusive premium package. This resort was a major disappointment. The food was horrific from the snack bar, to the buffet, to the restaurants. The only good meal we ate on the resort premise was the hibachi. We ate a total of 4 meals at resort over 7 days as it was that bad! Our pre-teens found the snack bar disgusting however enjoyed the ice cream station, when it was open. The beds were so uncomfortable (hard as a sheet of plywood) that we attempted to get a mattress topper however unavailable at Walmart. Six sleepless nights is not my idea of a vacation! Unable to make reservations for NYE after multiple attempts.

Highly-recommended hotel
Great cozy hotel located right on the beach, and just a few minute walk to 5th avenue. It was extremely clean with good service and amazing staff, like Boris with all his fun activities!
