Old and dated resort.
This is NOT a 5 star. It would be generous to state its a 2 star. Rooms smell like mold. food is subpar. The fish tacos from the surf shack are good, but the buffet and restaurants (which aren't open everyday) have a lot to work on. staff are OK. the adults only pool and swim up bar are fantastic. Pedro and Julian are great bartenders. Two of the days when making up our room they didn't restock our mini bar, including the waters, and we had to go ask for them. The man at the front desk said he would send someone with the water and it never came. The beach is NOT swimmable. For a couple hundred dollars more youre better to boom at The RIU. AVOID THIS RESORT!!!!!

Property has opportunity 2 1/2 maybe 3 star at most.
I’d rate this resort 3 stars at best. The front desk and valet staff were excellent – professional, helpful, and really on top of their game. Unfortunately, the room had several issues: no hot water in the shower (though the sink had it), water stains on the ceiling, corroded fixtures, and a shower door that leaked. Room service was hard to reach due to a faulty phone. Food was hit or miss – the buffet often ran low on items, though the Japanese restaurant was decent (small portions, but tasty). The snack bar near the pool really needs better food and sanitation, as flies were an issue. The coffee house was nice, though charging extra for ice cream was disappointing. On the positive side, the adult pool with swim-up bar was great, and the evening entertainment was enjoyable. Lost & found was very organized and helpful. Overall: you get what you pay for. This resort might be fine for some travelers, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Will definitely stay here again!
We were VERY impressed with Krystal! Honestly, not sure why there are bad reviews... The staff here is SO incredibly friendly -- probably the most friendly and helpful than any other all-inclusive we have stayed at. The food was great, but make sure you upgrade to the Altitude Club. It is a must! You'll have access to the beach front restaurant (which has some of the best brunch/lunch food that we've had at a resort, and that's saying something) and roof top bar (which is a must for sunset and late night). I would highly recommend staying here and will stay here again. Shout out to the staff! They definitely deserve all the kudos, and made our trips so special: Estefania and Angela at the beach side restaurant, Paul with the complementary late checkout (!), Hugo at the rooftop bar (great mixologist and wine knowledge), Pablo at the adults swim up bar, and all the guys at the main pool grill - continuously bringing food and drinks to our pool, and asking if we were okay.

My family loves here
Truly this is the place for a fun, pleasant and foodie lover great experience. First, staff is very friendly and helpful, the animation team really knows how to catch the crowd (kuddos to Urias) and the food - oh my - not the typical all-inclusive low quality food. No, here you will enjoy every meal from the buffet to the speciality restaurants. I will personally recommend the Ayami (asian) and the teppanyaki show. The only bad thing is that you can’t swim at the beach, but that’s almost anywhere in Cabo.
