    Bed bugs, don’t come

    Dirty bloody mattress cover, that, instead of being washed, was just flipped over to be reused. Bed bugs - the body is bitten all over for me and my wife. Ants are in the room Bad customer service in the resort. Shabby room, bathroom - such a bad impression for Ritz Carlton brand.

    Bad service, shabby room, cock roaches and ants in the rooms, dirty rooms, bad food - St. Thomas Ritz Carlton

    Hello, We are staying at Ritz Carlton St Thomas. My email has never been responded to about my Dinner on the beach for my wedding anniversary as bellow. The first day the room was not cleaned. I saw many baby cockroaches until I saw a big one last night - videos and pictures are attached. There is not light in the shower cabin. The condition of the bed is terrible - see videos. Coffee machine doesn’t work in the room. Customer service is terrible, people are not friendly at the hotel. The food at the resort is not tasty. On top of that, the room is in very bad condition ( shabby) - see videos and has cockroaches. It is a shame this property operates under Ritz brand name! I booked 2 rooms and spent $20k for these shabby rooms for such a bad vacation experience. The second room has ants in the room. My photos and videos will be posted all over the social media and internet so that people would not come to the hotel.

    Excellent experience and service

    We just returned from a seven-day stay and we had an amazing experience! We were a bit worried from reading some of these reviews before our trip that said this was "not ritz quality" but our experience was great so we felt compelled to let others know how excellent the service and staff were. Our room, the service and the beach experience were all excellent. We stayed in a one bedroom suite at the Club level and the room was very modern and well appointed with amazing views. The Club level had amazing service where the staff really made you feel at home. Shirley and Bertha were so warm and welcoming to us and our daughter, greeting our daughter on a first name basis and making the stay relaxing and special. If we had any special request they would do their best to meet it. We have not experienced this personal service before and have stayed at a lot of different places (Ritz Cayman, Viceroy St Lucia, Rosewood Bahamas & Anguilla resort when it was owned by Viceroy). The beach staff were also attentive, walking around to check if you needed any food or drinks frequently where in some resorts it is hard to find someone. Like many resorts the beach has free use of kayaks, paddle boards and snorkel gear, which were great and they have enough of everything so we didn't need to wait. One point to note is that the beach can be rocky and our daughter cut her foot in the water, but even that was a good experience. Once we told the hotel, Giovanni from security came to our room to clean and treat the cut and left us with supplies. He was also warm and caring. All in all, we highly recommend so don't overlook, especially trying the club level if it fits your budget.

    Customer service poor !

    Horrible , horrible experience! I will definitely not go back ! The customer service was horrible , one of my personal item was stolen at the pool and I was told they are not responsible for that ! The manager never replied back to me . My stay was not cheap either needless to say !

    Not a Ritz Carlton

    Stayed there for spring break in March 2024 and in summary this place does major injustice to the Ritz Carlton brand. The room and overall campus is very dated, the staff is not attentive, food options are terrible and overall the amenities do not align with price. Generally dirty and run down, and with staff that smoked weed in the linen storage outside my room. Don’t spend your hard earned money here.
