First time back since the renovation done in 2023 there were pluses and minuses. The resort was very clean, staff were fantastic and the food at the sit down restaurants was good the buffet had many choices. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. The lobby area is not air conditioned not a big deal unless it’s really humid. Pools were redesigned two of them had easy access the third pool had ladders to get in which may be difficult for an older person. RIU parties were fun we’ve been to several of them over the years. We only went to one night show in the Calypso theater the sound seemed a little loud and echoed and was hard to understand, when they had the outdoor theater that was much better. We still enjoyed the resort and would recommend it.

Been going to Cancun for over 25+years and just returned from our 2nd time this year. We had an amazing time and can't wait to return. The hotel is spotless, excellent staff, variety at the restaurants and all were really good. We've stayed here before before the renovations and got moved to Riu Cancun, which we also really like as well. We got use to walking out the door and a short walk with other restaurants, bars and shops. Here you do have to take the bus if you want to go anywhere which is no big deal as we've always used the bus before. We really liked that it was more updated, the beach is beautiful, pools were never really crowded which was really nice. All and All we had a GREAT TIME and definitely we'll be back.

Fab Hotel
We have just stayed at the Riu Caribe for 2 weeks. This is our 1st time staying with Riu and we will definitely be booking their hotels again. Upon arrival we upgraded to the rooms with their own pools right on the beach which are great, we loved the privacy and our outdoor space with sun loungers would definitely recommend them, our pool was spotless & cleaned daily. The staff here are lovely , if we needed anything they sorted it. Being in our 50's we thought we'd be too old for the Riu parties, we definitely wasnt, they are a great mix of young and older and so much fun we attended 5 . Its not all parties and can be quite a chilled place if you preferred. Food is good, we ate mostly in the buffet as had a good selection and a few times in the steak house, my one only negative is the steak house is extremely hot to eat in . The beach is beautiful, we have stayed at several places in mexico and the seaweed has always been a problem, the beach guys are out here clearing it every day and the sea is crystal clear. Great for snorkelling and we hired a jet ski from the site, theres also kayaking and several other water sport choices. Fantastic holiday and would definetly return.

Fabulous as always
Fabulous as always. This is the 6th time my wife and I have stayed at the Riu Caribe and it never disappoints. We had a great time yet again. All the staff are absolutely lovely and so hard working, I can't praise them enough 😊 Everything was always spotless & so clean, food in every restaurant was lovely. Special mention for Israel the bar guy 👍 We will more than likely always stay here when in Cancun. 7th visit hopefully next year. See you soon 😊

Amazing
I’ve stayed in many hotels and beautiful places before but something about Riu Caribe made me want to return. Maybe it’s the way the whole resort feels. There is something very special abojt waking up here knowing that you will be taken care of 24/7 by all the wonderful caring members of the hotel. Everything here is wonderful and inviting. The staff are so genuinely lovely not just professionally polite but warm caring the way they remember you. That is what makes the Riu Caribe memorable. I felt incredibly happy here with my niece and so very safe. I was so sad to leave and this is the best compliment you can give to any hotel. Thank you Pablo and Nacho for remembering me from the previous year and for always being on hand throughout my stay. Thank you Andrea from guest relations for organising a room change which was so very appreciated. Thank you to Jorge on reception your warm smiles are infectious keep on smiling… Thank you to Beto who worked so hard in the pool bar for making me feel happy every day. Thank you to Israel for the many laughs around the pool… I left this hotel wanting to return and I will and have been made to feel more than just a guest. d. Each room must submit a signed liability agreement upon check-in.
6. At all other RIU properties Student Groups / Spring Breakers (either groups or individuals, regardless of age) are not allowed at any time during the year

RIU Hotels & Resorts is in no way responsible for the consequences and or lawsuits that may ensue due to rejection of unauthorized spring breakers arriving on Riu property. Riu Hotels and Resorts withholds right of admission and will take the necessary steps to safeguard the All-inclusive leisure experience for which it prides itself, and which our mutual clients have come to expect. We consider it our obligation to protect those clients against unruly, unsecure, unhealthy, dangerous, noisy, obnoxious and in any other way, disruptive behavior.
