The weather was beautiful, the resort and beach well cared for. We were even able to see fish swimming around our legs. The best was the people though. Shanalee (hopefully I’m spelling her name right) who is a server in the buffet was so kind and upbeat. We were a party of 8 and she was so helpful. Shoutout to the kids club as well. The kids had a fab time and wanted to stop by for a couple of hours a day. Savannah, Nay Nay and Kaitland were so lovely.

The hotel is clean and very well maintained however the property is large and hard to get around with small children. The wait was too long to get to our rooms and no one was available to take our luggage to and from the room so we struggled with our child and they bags both times

Amazing
The overall experience was 9/10. I enjoyed my stay. The entertainment was top tier. The food was amazing. I love the pool and the night scene. Definitely going back.

Oct 03, 2026*A Double Birthday to Remember at Riu Ocho Rios!
We stayed at Hotel Riu Ocho Rios for a double birthday celebration and had an amazing time! We arrived a little early so our room wasn't ready, which is totally understandable. The team pre-checked us in right away so we were able to have lunch and explore the facilities while we waited. The only hiccup was we were told we would get an email notification when the room was ready and didn't receive it, so we had to go check at the front desk after 4 PM. Luckily they called on the radio and got us settled right away. The absolute HIGHLIGHT of our trip were the amazing bartenders at 3 of the bars. You gentlemen made our stay so memorable - you are a VIBE! Starting with *Wayne and his special drinks* and his dups (inside joke 😉), *Tyrie & Andien*, *Kavoy* who learned to “Clock it” with my 20-year-old cousin(don’t sí what it means lol), and last but not least *Curtis, Troy and Adybe* (not sure I got the spelling right, apologies in advance!), we had a blast with them, thanks for the games and fun conversations! Thank you all for making our birthday celebration so special. The service, the drinks, and the energy were unmatched. We will definitely be back!
