    Pingle Family and Friends Vacation

    Overall, I had an excellent experience. The nightly entertainment was outstanding! The variety of the daily menu was always delicious. The array of tours was a plus. Our group takes these vacation trips to various Caribbean Islands regularly for the past several years and the RIU is always the resort of choice. I have recommended the Riu to many of my friends. At this time, there is nothing that I can think of that could have enhance the wonderful accommodation that I experienced recently. Dr. DaCosta

    One Nighter at RIU Aquarelle

    The Service delivered by the hotel staff from the start to finish of my stay was remarkable, food was on point, especially the curry goat and breakfast menu. The beach was a bit stony, but the water was clear and pure white sand. I would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel; they will not regret this wonderful experience.

    AM I BEING PUNKED?

    Booking seems to be a bit of a scam. No 800 number to hotel. Found out late in the game by booking a vacation package on the Riu site meant I was booking through a third party although all correspondence were on Riu letterhead. Had to fight tooth and nail (including several phone calls and e-mails) for transportation transfers. Still owed a refund (and follow up e-mail) for a cancelled reservation. Overall, resort was nice. Entertainment was outstanding. Buffet food was okay but definitely nothing to write home about. Restaurants not worth the effort. Resort staff were very friendly. I’ve stayed at several other Riu locations but this booking was the most difficult and frustrating.
