JAMROCK
I was amazed that someone in our party got injured from a broken plate in the dining area, no fault of hers, her foot was bleeding for quite sometime if the nurse had to attend to her, she was told it would be a $65 charge. She had to treat and bandage the wound herself. This incident occurred on the property yet the hotel did not take responsibility.to give her the necessary treatment. Needless to say, we were very disappointed on the action of hotel management handling such situation. The beach was disappointing, my husband was looking forward to swimming everyday, he loves the water. He was only able to goi in the water twice because it was very rocky. I know nothing can be done now about the structure of the rooms, we had the quad. That's such poor design with one room total blocked off from the ocean front view it was interior This is very disappointing, I sent some pictures to friends who lives in Jamaica, they got the urge to vacation at the RIU., they called to make reservations, only to find out Jamaican currency isn't accepted. What establishment don't accept their one country's currency? Which Cleary states the locals are not welcome. SHAME ON RIU for doing that, I hope your workers are being paid in U S dollars. As Jamaicans would say, " them sell us out again". I'm urging the organization to address and seriously look to improve the above matters. I'm hoping my concerns reaches corporate, feel free to follow up with a response.

Great Resort!
We spent 5 days here in July 2025. The water park, activities, buffet, nightly entertainment, beach and pools were perfect for our vacation. We will definitely come back to this resort. The only problem was we were nit able to get reservations at the restaurants, always full.

Book It!!!
We been to many Riu’s from the DR to Central America. Riu Aqua takes the cake! The property is beautiful! Little kids water park. Big kids water park. Adults only bar & pool attached to a kids pool 😜. Plus 2 more pools. The entertainment team? TOP notch! Sexy Miguel, RuJay, Shanoya, Paula, Jaguar, Marton, Levtonia, Romaine were so sweet, playful and awesome. They kept up the energy all day and night, interacted with guests and kept old and young entertained. The food never disappointed at the buffet. Whoever is in charge of entertainment and the food needs to be placed under lock and key!!! From Cathy Lee (housekeeping) to the eye candies (lifeguards) Micheal Moodie and Clayton Young were other cherries on top. The bartenders and servers Roniel, Nelson, Cornel, Chantol, Corrine, and Lottalee at front desk were all amazing. I can’t remember all of their names but the staff treated us with enthusiasm and helpfulness. We will be back because of how sweet everyone was, the property, entertainment and food!

Great hotel
This is a lovely hotel to stay although it is not as big has the others. It is clean and would definitely return. I have now been to all RIU's in Jamaica and therefore would recommend this one if you have kids The only downside is the transfer from the airport.

Best Hotel Chain
Unforgettable experience. Loved the property layout. Service was awesome. Entertainment was TOP TIER. Hosts and performers' energy was unbelievable..Only critique I would give is to sensitize hotel staff to elevator size and slight inconveniences when boarding with trays and bellhop carts. Try not to squeeze us in too tight with all that stuff..Otherwise it was A grade service and experience...
