So nice to get away to a beautiful location and to feel pampered by the staff of the Riu Baja California. Food was amazing and service was friendly, very prompt, professional and genuine. Will definitely want to visit again.

Had a great time here!
We had a great time at this resort. The property was beautiful and clean. The room we had was stylish and comfortable. The food was good for the most part, typical all inclusive type food and restaurant options were ok. A few times we were told to come back in an hour but we didn’t mind. All the staff and bartenders we met were so nice and we really enjoyed our stay. The nightlife at Baja was meh.. we usually ended up walking over to the Santa Fe or the Palace to watch their shows. They rotated all the shows throughout the resorts but the vibe was better at the other resorts and it was warmer there, it gets chilly at night and we found Santa Fe and Palace show areas to be warmer. We loved the adults only aspect of the Baja, especially when walking through the other resorts it was nice to come back to ours!

Our stay at the Hotel Riu Palace Baja California was great. The room, pools, restaurant and bars were terrific. Staff were everyone always offering assistance. Jose who operates the mobile bar cart on the pool deck was our man. His margaritas were better than any other bartender onsite. He would muddle the limes first and only add a touch of the margarita juice; they were mostly tequila and triple sec. Daiquiri bar was our headquarters for a pre-dinner martini. The bar tenders there took the time to chill our glasses with ice water. A nice touch given it’s an all inclusive resort. My one criticism is we never saw anyone washing the pool or pool deck during our week. The ocean is not swimmable in this area. However wave watching was great. They crash into shore with a thundering sound.
