We had a wonderful time as always we travel there every year. We enjoy everybody from the staff to all the waiters and bartenders. They are very friendly and very courteous. Francisco, thank you for everything you did for us really appreciate it. Hopefully, we’ll see you next year.

Best thing about the Riu is their employees!
Stayed at Riu Palace for the first time. Very impressed with our stay. Beautiful views of the Ocean and the Rock where the Arch is located. You can’t see the arch but the view was beautiful!! Viewing the Sunrise was the first thing on my daily agenda. Employees kept the areas very well maintained, especially during the rare rain events during this hurricane season. Always on top of keeping areas well swept from water. Rooms were clean and well stocked with towels and beverages of all types. For the price it was well worth the cost. Very little cons to this resort. One con is that roof repair is strongly needed ( employees did an amazing job on making do to keeping areas clear of water drips and plaster from the ceiling that had fallen because of the leaks. One other issue is that woodwork in the hallways and in the rooms had just gotten a fresh coat of stain, so because of it the smell was a bit overpowering.It was so overpowering that we had slight headaches and all our clothes absorbed the smell. On returning home I had to wash our clothes with apple cider vinegar to get rid of the smell. Other than that it was a very pleasant experience and what was the absolute best thing about Riu Palace was the employees!! So please make the time to chat with them and get to know them. Big hearts and so willing to please. Tip them well is my advice because most don’t make much but they give it their all to help make you stay pleasant.

We loved the buffets, though all the restaurants had the same food, with a slightly different twist. But still decent. The staff were all great.

A perfectly relaxing time!
Best of the 3 Cabo San Lucas RIU's in terms of quiet relaxation. The staff was wonderful. The restaurants were nice. Main areas were immaculate! This despite this property being a bit dated and needing some minor updates. I wish the app was a bit easier to navigate. We missed a lot because we didn't know where to go or what was happening. A couple of small updates would send this place over the top! Updated beds and bedding!!! The bedding is 3 sheets. A smart tv with streaming options and updated WiFi! Lastly most of the food was great! However we had a vegetarian in our party and there were little to no options despite the advertising of a vegetarian menu. They certainly didn't have options in the nicer restaurants for vegetarians. That was a huge issue! The pools were gorgeous and pristine at the Palace! We walked to the other hotels and that wasn't always the case. The view was unbeatable! Will definitely be back!!
