We have stayed in what is classed as 5 star resorts before and this resort tops them all. Reception and departure was smooth. Rooms were spotless clean, pools were clean and the entertainment at the pools was good. Nightly entertainment was great. The resturant service and quality of food served was fabulous.

Relaxation, indulgence and optional party time!
The resort was an excellent mix of relaxation and optional party time. The Palace has great restaurants, buffets and entertainment and is best suited for a more relaxed pace. However, if you want to party you have full access to the Riu Santa Fe next door to indulge in the Pink Party or Disco. The Palace service was amazing with the friendliest staff. I would go back in a minute to this all inclusive resort.

My favorite Riu yet!
We had a great week at this Riu for my sister’s wedding. I have been to several Rius before including being married at one so I know it’s a good resort and what to expect from a Riu. The scenery, hotel, and grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed the food, including the BEST Mac and cheese I’ve ever had, and I’ve eaten a lot of Mac and cheese! I found everything very well thought out, from having multiple lunch options open right up until dinner, to the surprisingly good pizza located right next to the kid’s water park. The wine was much better than previous stays at other Rius, especially the Cabernet Sauvignon. The weather in Cabo San Lucas is perfect for being comfortable in the evenings while still getting to swim during the day. In the morning it was noticeable that warm water is being pumped into the pools. Even though the resort was sold out some nights, you never struggled to find a chair by the pool or on the beach. The service was great, especially from our waiter Alex at breakfast. I could go on and on. We definitely plan to return, and probably check out the adults only Baja California in the future!

The hotel was great, very beautiful grounds and close to the shopping areas. Rooms were cleaned nightly and the staff were all amazing. The only complaint would be the ala carte restaurants, the food was not good at any of them. We went to 4 of thm and they were all bad so decided not to even bother trying the Krystal. The fact we could use the Santa Fe was also great for my 10 year old who loved the slides.

Good value overall
We had 3 rooms for our family of 8. The hotel is beautiful with a beautiful view. Food was plentiful with lots of options but nothing that great. Service was pretty good all around. The shows at night were great. For one of our rooms the blow dryer was not working and though we asked, they never brought a new blow dryer or fixed it. We asked for a cot for another room and it took several times of asking for them to finally bring it and it was very uncomfortable.
