This resort is clean and the landscaping is kept up. We had one day (out of 5) that our room was not serviced and had to call twice to get fresh towels. Otherwise, our room was well taken care of. We upgraded to an ocean view jr. suite and loved it. Gave us plenty of space to spread out. The only recommendation is that the TV is set in the living room area, somewhat far away for the person in the opposite side of the bed. Room service was quick, but has a very limited menu. We were not fans of the Japanese restaurant. Others we could find something on the menu that was good. Our favorites were the beef and lamb dishes at Krystal (better than at the steakhouse). We liked that we never really had to wait for a drink or a refill. They were quick to fill our glasses or bring new cocktails as we ordered them. Not a lot of good options for bourbon drinkers that like to drink it on the rocks. Breakfast buffet is good and a wide variety of options. The activity schedule was difficult to figure out at times. Wish the pink and neon party were at night like the white party. Staff were very kind.

LARGE Room facing the Ocean, corner suite to boot and a 45 wrap around view of the marina. If that doesn't do your sunrise any justice the patio is about the average size of a condo in Vancouver, BC and sports a Hot tub for a refreshing and relaxing sun set for 2 or a Oilers game for 1 for those who get caught staring too long. kidding My wife is one AND she puts up with me 100%. Lot's of things to do, places to go, nightlife, 24/7 food and Drinks and generally happy helpful staff but with the temperature of global events you could tell a little holding back to specific vacationers and as a Canadian Vet who deployed so was I. Negatives, internet. Lol, the farther away you get from the lobby the worse it gets and this place is HUGE. Don't bother calling, because 15 min later its slow again. Big thumbs up ! Ps: must have soundproofing because we heard nothing, all night, every night..

Review of Chamber of Commerce TRC Trip
Map of the property should convey the floors for each indicated service. Signage could be improved to direct us to various locations. As part of a large group, a welcome from a knowledgeable staff member regarding an overview of the property and sister property would be helpful. Wines with meals were average as well as the limited selection of bourbons. Wait staff were attentive and helpful. Bar and cooking staff were also good. Jorge and America stand out in our minds.

Jan 27, 2026Just stay home and get someone to pound on your head with a plastic bat for hours at a time.
Food was good, even excellent, but daily ambience by the pool was marred by constant loud pounding music and aquasize classes that involved constant yelling at full volume. I fantasized about walking past the amplifier system and “accidentally “ leaving an ice cube to melt into the power cord or electronics, just to be able to enjoy the stunning views in peace and quiet. Evening entertainment was similarly loud and obnoxious, compensating lack of real talent with over the top phoney enthusiasm. Okay I guess I am now officially “that” grumpy old man, but it was hard to find any peace in paradise.

Fantastic hotel and staff
We stayed here for five nights before joining a cruise in Dubia. We arrived at the hotel just after 2200 and checked in very quickly and taken to our room on the second floor by one of the staff. The room was big and spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom again very clean with fresh towels daily. We went to the sports bar which provided food overnight as we had just missed dinner. The restaurant and the spices restaurant were very good with plenty of choice. Unfortunately our stay coincided with the area suffering winds but this was not a big problem as the hotel has a lot of areas to sit or use sunbeds around the pools or on the beach. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and cannot do enough to make the stay very enjoyable. We will definitely be back to stay for a holiday hopefully next year.
