Quiet Honeymoon Visit
We had a great visit for our Honeymoon at the Riu Palace Costa Mujeres. We came in November, so the hotel was busy, but not packed. All of the restaurants and food options were so tasty, and I don't think we found anything that we really didn't like. We booked a snorkel tour through the hotel, and were very happy with the boat operator and the care they gave those on the boat. Just like any hotel with many guests, we had some noisy neighbors who fought a lot. The hotel did its best to manage that situation, and although I'm not sure what arrangements were made, the woman ended up packing up and leaving while the man stayed in the room next door. Rooms were clean, and had a nice view of the property. Would come back to a Riu.

Relaxing time
The place is great especially for a short stay. We have had a great time so far enjoying the beach and pools. Staff has been great, would like to give a shoutout to Rodolfo for being super attentive during our dining experience.

Dec 04, 2025great resort, but a big disappointment.
Upon arrival at the resort, I was told there was an error in my wife's name. My documents were correct. I was told I had to pay a $400 cash deposit and resolve the matter within 48 hours. This was my sixth stay at this resort. Instead of being warmly welcomed, I was treated rudely, and the reservation was in my name and paid for. I don't know whose fault it is, the resort or Apple Vacation. Both say it's not their fault. It's a nice resort, my favorite, but unfortunately, a big disappointment. Apparently, that's the standard there.But overall, it's a nice, clean resort, nice people, good food, and a great beach,great value

Not satisfied
We wanted to go to an adults only resort, this trip we were not traveling with kids so we visited this resort thinking it was adults only, that’s what it advertised we get there and there’s children all over the place(1) some very unruly. Because it’s not an adults only resort pools closed at 7, entertainment was at another resort we had to shuttle to another resort at there time and come back on there time they picked us up at 2:30 and if we want the shuttle back we had to leave at 6:30 where adults, WHY? The food was hit and miss. If you’re looking for an adults only resort this is not it!
