    Our first stay at RIU Palace Maspalomas

    First and foremost, very good location. Secondly, high class facilities, very good food and always available sunbeds. Halfboard worked well and decent prices on drinks etc, we were pleased surprised when we paid the final bill. Stayed at a very nice room at the third floor, some noise from the evening entertainment, but very quiet after 22:30 hrs. A perfect stay, but we missed the all inclusive concept slightly, so our next stay will be at Riu Palace Palmeras

    RIU Palace Maspalomas delivers!

    My wife and I spent almost two weeks at this hotel. One word to describe: Fantastic! We will be back.

    Last minute trip to the sun

    Had a week off work planned, on the Wednesday we looked at the forecast for uk & the forecast for Gran Canaria & jumped in to go 5 days later. Arrived in the impressive reception mid afternoon & our room was ready. After a welcome drink in the bar we went up. We requested a nice view & we got one of the pool, which was nice. Every bit of the hotel is spotlessly clean. Super posh toilets downstairs. The restaurant was lovely & all food was great. We managed to eat a little bit of many delicious different things, salmon, swordfish, hake, fillet steak, caviar, different selection every night, food being constantly cooked & fresh being put out. Omelettes made continuously throughout breakfast. We mostly sat in the same place & I tried to practice Spanish with our waitress Denisse? She was singing whilst she worked which was nice. We managed to sit outside for all meals, due to about 50 giant Bunsen burners. All staff are really polite, every single one of them greeted us with ‘Hola, buenos días’ every time they see you. Swimming pools are heated & easy to get in, even in January. We brought a bottle of wine most evenings & a few drinks in the bar. We would have had more if I had remembered I was a member of the RIU club & was awarded a great discount when I settled the bill. ( stayed in different RIU hotels over the years) The hotel put entertainment on each evening, it generally finished between 10.30 & 11pm, most people go to bed, making the hotel lovely & quiet at bed time. Never heard any noise in the corridors or outside. Sat on the balcony relaxing till midnight. The view of the dunes from the hotel is amazing, we did walk across them to Melenores, which was 3.2km. I fail to see how this hotel can be any less than 5star 🤩 Fantastic weather, 6 days out of 7 were 22-25c & sunny all day ☀️ Overall a wonderful spontaneous holiday & I will return & will visit other RIU palaces when I get to choose. ❤️

    Perfect yet again

    Been many many many times and still as good as ever. Adults only makes it a quiet hotel. Some don’t like the quiet location & some want a more ‘lively’ atmosphere. This is not for us and that is why we absolutely love our holidays here. Thank you to Marissa & all her lovely staff for yet another perfect stay again!

    Excellent holiday venue

    The hotel and staff provided excellent service. Would have loved to have stayed longer!! A relaxing holiday venue.
