  We came from Amsterdam for a five-day stay, and although we’ve only been here for one day, I already wish it could last forever. Everything has been perfect. The food is delicious and varied, the entire hotel is exceptionally clean, and the staff are, by far, its greatest asset. I have never been treated so well at any hotel. Everyone is incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It’s the kind of place that makes you question whether you should keep exploring new destinations or simply return to an experience this spectacular. 100% recommended!

  Great holiday experience.

  We had a one week holiday to celebrate our 48th Wedding Anniversary at this resort recommended by a friend who had many enjoyable holidays here. Everything was absolutely amazing from the time of arrival to the end of our holiday. All the staff at Reception, in the restaurant, housekeeping, in the Spa and everywhere else were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic suite with a balcony facing the sea. The Promenade Buffet Restaurant provided an array of International Cusine with live cooking stations. Although being vegetarians we were able to find enough suitable food to our liking at dinner. The buffet breakfast was really good with lots of choices especially the freshly cut fruits. We did not use any of the two À la carte restaurants because they had very limited vegetarian options. Special thanks to Mr Pablo Santana, the Head of Reception for a very personal and warm welcome and also to David the maître d'hôtel in the Promenade Restaurant who welcomed us every evening at dinner and at breakfast. One very negative feedback is the situation regarding water in the evening for dinner. No water was available, if water was required it had to be purchased at €3.25 for 50cl of mineral water. (All I needed was a small sip of water to take my medication after dinner). Yet at breakfast there was sparkling wine, water, all type of fruit juices, tea and coffee flowing freely. Providing drinking water is a BASIC REQUIREMENT especially during the day when it is very hot. I have stayed in many hotels around the world and there is always a water fountain where drinking water is available freely. This is obviously a policy of the hotel chain and it seems like profit is being put before basic requirements of guests. This policy needs to be reviewed and changed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ [EXCEPT FOR THE WATER SITUATION]

  1 week at a fantastic hotel

  We stayed here at the beginning of August and were welcomed by very friendly and helpful reception staff. The room we were given was beautiful, clean and tidy, with a very good overall standard. We had booked half board, which included both breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, with a huge selection and pretty much everything you could wish for. The same was true for dinner. Every day there was a great variety of pasta, meat, fish and vegetarian dishes, as well as a fantastic dessert buffet. The hotel has several restaurants to choose from, two of which need to be booked in advance. There are also three pool areas to choose from, and thankfully we never experienced any stress or competition when it came to finding a sunbed. The location is also excellent. The beach is just a stone’s throw away and can be reached directly through a private hotel exit. Along the beachfront, just outside the hotel, you’ll find plenty of lovely restaurants and a shopping area. This makes it very easy to pick up food, drinks or other refreshments before heading to the beach. The only thing that was slightly disappointing for us was the gym. It is probably perfectly fine for guests who mainly want to run or do cardio, but unfortunately, the equipment available for strength training is quite limited. This is definitely an area where we feel the hotel has room for improvement. Another option could be for the hotel to arrange a partnership with a local gym for its guests. For anyone looking for a proper strength-training gym nearby, we can highly recommend Titan Gym. However, this is only a small issue compared with our overall experience. All in all, we had a fantastic stay. The hotel, the food, the location and, not least, the friendly staff made our holiday truly enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back!   Excellent 5 night stay.

  Our 5-night stay at the Riu Oasis Meloneras was outstanding. We booked breakfast and dinner, and the €55 airport taxi took around 30 minutes. First impressions were exceptional—an immaculate hotel with a warm, efficient welcome from Silvia at reception. We were delighted to receive a complimentary private pool room upgrade and were even offered food despite arriving at 11pm. The hotel was spotless throughout, with excellent food choices, lovely outdoor dining, no sunbed rush, regular towel changes, spacious rooms, and outstanding housekeeping. Every member of staff was friendly and welcoming, making us feel genuinely valued. With a café, bar, and the beach just a 1–2 minute walk away, the location is perfect. We genuinely couldn't fault our stay and would highly recommend this hotel. A special thank you to Silvia for making our arrival so memorable—we will definitely be back.

  Relaxed days in Melonares Paradies

  Hotel, location, Cleanliness, Staff, Gym, Pools, etc. were all incredible and amazing! We felt super comfortable as a family of 4. However 2 things need to be adressed: - Breakfast is okay. After 09:00 it gets super busy and a bit chaotic. - Availabilty of Parking Spots. There are 20-30 parking spots available (accessable with Hotel keycard) onsite. But during high season expect parking your car outside of the hotel area, because simply NONE are available. Took us last night 30 minutes to find a parking spot in Melonares, which is not acceptable in my opinion for 5 star hotel. Hotel staff could not help us either. Beside the two points menitoned above we have had a great stay, enjoyed the pools and the nearby beach, which especially the kids liked.
