  Fabulous vacation

  We had another fantastic vacation at the Pacifico, the staff, food, drinks everything was superb. We love the way you can now reserve the steakhouse as it was hard to get a meal there before. Well done to who ever made that change. The caesar salad & chateaubriand were my favourites at the steakhouse, Krystal’s cod fritters & short ribs are delicious, we reunited with 2 couples we first met at the hotel 2 years ago and had the best time. Checkout the cocktail cart in the lobby every night, they have some delicious cocktails. I can’t praise all the hard working staff enough, they help to make your stay very enjoyable. You can change large peso notes at reception anytime, if you need anything topped up in your room mini bar just use the Riu app, it’s amazing, I was sitting in the lobby bar one night at 10 pm & placed an order for water & Pepsi thinking it would be restocked the next day but when we went back to our room around midnight they had already restocked it, we were impressed. We were there for 14 nights and had no rain during the day only through the night. We’ll definitely be back next year with our friends, thank you to everyone that made our stay so memorable. Don’t forget to check out the sports bar it’s open 24/7 and the food is really good.

  Great place, great service!

  This was our first time in Puerto Vallarta. The hotel itself is quite beautiful. Stunning architecture in the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The room was beautiful and very clean and they maid service was excellent. The check-in process was very quick and efficient. When we got to the room, we had an issue with the patio door, not closing properly so we went back to the front desk and dealt with the woman that checked us in and she looked after everything quickly and got us in another room immediately. We were very happy with the service that was provided. The food was good, although I was disappointed with the steakhouse as it was the only restaurant that required a reservation. My favourite restaurant was Krystal, it’s not just for the food, but for the service. We went twice, and the staff worked really well together and made both evenings very enjoyable. Our second favourite restaurant was the Asian followed by Guacamole, the steakhouse and last, but not least the Italian restaurant which was very underwhelming and the service was not great comparison to the previous mentioned Krystal. The buffet was good with lots of variety. The pool area was nice with lots of chairs however, the pool was insanely hot, so it was never refreshing. We didn’t really go to the beach much as the ocean was not the greatest. . My wife and I have been to Mexico four different times along with the Dominican Republic five times Cuba twice Costa Rica once Jamaica once Florida, Tennessee, Australia, Germany. Without a doubt Julian, who is a waiter at the buffet was the best waiter I have ever come across in all of my travels. Very engaging with all of the travellers and extremely attentive, not only to us, but I watched him with everyone else in his section and he was phenomenal. Mauro was very good also. We really enjoyed our trip and would definitely come back here again. The staff was amazing.

  Best Service in Mexico

  I was not having the greatest vacation, until i decided to spend a day at the pool, gotta say Andrea from entertainment was amazing, her vibe was incredible and her charisma unmatched. She had the greatest smile, very contagious by the way. Cant wait to head back!
