    Wow! Be aware!

    Just be aware that this beautiful resort OVER BOOKS their guests! Then they ‘conveniently’ have openings at their sister resort the Caribe next door! You won’t be able to go and enjoy the Palace because you have a red wristband and not a purple! You PAY for the Palace and end up at the sister resort, although the Caribe and their staff are amazing! Oh! But wait! They will gift you with a ‘3 night stay’ at your convenience! Beautiful resorts but just a heads up!

    2025 Vacation

    This has been my second time staying in this property. All of the staff provide the best service. They were very attentive to our needs during the whole stay. They remembered what our preferred drinks were every time we dined at the buffet. The food is very good but I would like to see Menudo and Pozole on the menu. Other than that I would not hesitate to return to the property and I would recommend it to anyone going to Cancun on vacation.

    Great week at Riu Palace

    We had a wonderful week at Riu Palace Peninsula from Feb 25-Mar4, 2025. The hotel is spotless and the staff if amazing. They work very hard to maintain the cleanliness of the hotel. Thank you to Victor & Paulina at the front desk for addressing our room concerns. The hotel is big but well spaced out so it never felt crowed. There were always lots of chairs on the beach with plenty of palm trees and umbrellas & very relaxing hammocks. Thanks to Cruz for being an awesome waiter on the beach. The buffet and all the restaurants were wonderful & if there was a wait you were given a beeper so you could wander the lobby & have a drink at the lobby bar where the bartenders were amazing. The ferry to Isla Mujeres is a short 5 minute walk from the hotel. A definite must. We will definitely return,

    Resort was super clean! Food was mediocre but kinda expected from an all inclusive. Staff was polite & professional.

    Staff was always around cleaning something. Property was conveniently located. Rooms were clean but I was not a fan of the open bathroom concept. Makes it hard to get ready if you with someone and they are sleeping.
