There's no better hotel in Cancun
We're from the UK and we're pretty well travelled, but this hotel is honestly one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. ALL rooms have sea views, which is pretty spectacular and the sunrise from the beach was beautiful. The beach is clean and has plenty of sunbeds with parasols available. It has a beach bar that also has hot drinks and snacks. The pools are big with the entertainment team doing a fab job in that heat and the pool bar doesn't get too overcrowded. Food at this hotel has to be why I've given 5 stars. It's insanely good with a huge selection of hot and cold meals, vegetarian, vegan you name it, they have it. My personal favourite was the daily fresh bread and abundance of avocado. There are parties if you like that kind of vibe. They are held in between this hotel and the Riu Caribe next door. They have white, pink, neon and jungle parties which are all exactly the same just different themes. They're so good. Held in and around the pool and last about 4 or 5 hours. We also booked Coco Bongo from around the pool. The guys are there most days and are genuine. We did go for the top package because we'd heard so many mixed reviews but our seats couldn't have been better. We paid about £160 each which I know is extreme but we'd do the same again given the chance. Overall, this hotel is incredible and if we ever returned to Mexico, this is where we'd stay.

Can't wait to return
We had such an amazing time. Our room had a beautiful view of the resort and the sunrise side of the ocean. We saw the most spectacular sunrises right form our balcony and jacuzzi. We were there over the Mexican Independence Day and the festivities were outstanding. The staff go above and beyond to make sure your stay is enjoyable. Hat's off to Rudolfo, Marcello, Diego, Karina, Raphael, Toni (AKA Fernando), Max, Kevin,, Santiago, Anna, Hugo, Mari & Damaris. Special thanks to the Riu Palace Pennisula & Daniel for the gift of Riu insulated cups with our names on them!

What a Wonderful Experience
We have just come back from this amazing hotel. Couldnt fault anything, the rooms, Pools, Beach, Food, Staff all totally amazing. All the staff are so hardworking and the grounds and hotel are immaculate. A special shout out to our Waiter in the Buffet, I think his name Marche, or something similar, he was amazing and our glasses were always topped up with lovely Wine. The 2 guys working the Pool drinks Alex (on the Drinks cart) and also Martinez were so lovely. It was a perfect Honeymoon. Thank you Rui Palace Peninsula for a Beautiful 2 Weeks in Paradise. :)
