The transfer from the airport, with Sunwing was difficult. We landed at 8:20 pm, and it was 12:30 am by the time we arrived to the hotel. The noise was unbearable in the first room we got, but after transferring to another one everything went smoothly. We had a great time.

Riu Playacar gave us an excellent family holiday. The resort is gorgeous, exceptionally clean and peaceful, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and well cared for. The restaurant staff in particular were friendly, funny, and extra tuned in to our needs. I could not be more grateful for them. Thank you, Riu Playacar, we had a wonderful time and will definitely be seeing you again!

EXCELLENT STAY W THE INLAWS AND FRIENDS FOR A BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
Cant say enough good things about this resort. From pick up at the airport by private shuttle van, to check in, and room quality, this resort has it all. Food choices are plentiful. We loved the breakfast and dinner buffets. The other restaurants all had good food. Service at at all spots was outstanding. Pool bar is awesome, w seats that literally overlook the ocean. Beach is outstanding in every way. Nice sand, and plenty of room We loved our stay, and will definitely be back..

Brilliant holiday
Our second visit to Rui playacar hotel in playa de Carmen. The hotel is just as good as last time. Staff are amazing and so friendly. Cleanliness is top notch. Lots and lots to do at this hotel and neighbouring Rui hotels and also with in the nearby vicinity. We did a Tui trip to Tulum and cenotes and Mayan village. It was really interesting and very well organised and Alan the tour guide was really informative. Brilliant holiday all round and will certainly consider returning again next year.

We travelled with our 3 year old son; there was lots to do for him and was still relaxing for us parents ☺️ The resort is nice and small so getting around is not difficult at all.
