We stayed here for 5 days while we were in San Francisco. Great central location to do all the tourist things & great food is close by. Breakfast was fantastic & the people were always nice and helpful.

Our Girls Trip was Amazing! RIU Fisherman's Wharf had good Breakfast. The outside firepits were really nice. This was our first time here. It was awesome and not to far from the pier. It was a plus. Nice ❤️

Good location
In a great spot for FW. Just really busy but we were there over a weekend . Breakfast is a bit chaotic but we only waited a few minutes . Rooms were nice .

Good Stay in Fisherman's Wharf
For a first time visitor to San Francisco this hotel is very well located with convenient access to the major tourist sites. This of course makes it a touristy area. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The bathrooms are nice and in good shape. Breakfast is really quite good except for the powdered eggs which were a real disappointment. Parking is grossly overpriced. We found the staff a bit of a mixed bag, some where quite friendly and helpful while others had a bit of an attitude.

The best thing about this hotel was it's location. I chose this because we have stayed at a few other RIU's and totally enjoyed it. But this was a little disappointing. The deluxe room was dated, the bathroom very, very small and outdated. The large window was dirty and covered in bird droppings, you could barely see out the windows. However, I was thankful that we were on the top floor, so we did not have an issue with noise over us, but the noise in the hallway and rooms next door could be heard. The breakfast is worse than a school cafeteria. The items on the buffet was the same EVERY morning, scrambled egg, hash browns, bacon, sausage and pancakes. Only 1 conveyor toaster for a room full of people, caused lines waiting for the toaster. Thank goodness we did not experience any wait for the times we went to breakfast, but I only ate there 2 mornings out of our 5 day stay. You could not take a cup of coffee out of the restaurant. Coffee offered at the grab and go, but it was not free. They did have coffee makers in the room, but I never use these. Heat/air conditioning unit with the control on the wall, not central air and heat. We had to call maintenance to show us how to use it, but it never worked correctly. Thank goodness it was not super hot because we barely turned it on. The units are super old school and not fancy or upgraded. The remote for the TV was like something from the 60's (see photos) The lobby and outside seating were beautiful, they have a heated outdoor pool, but we did not use it. It is close to Pier 39 in the Fisherman's Wharf. Thankful they offered luggage storage for before check-in and after check-out.
