Vibes and vibes
If you want a party resort, this is the place. I stayed in September 2024 and maybe it’s gone a lil down since then but I loved it that much I go back next week - if you’re expecting 5* luxury this isn’t the place for you but if you’re wanting lit party vibes then it’s perfect. All of the staff were so nice - food was average when I went but overall great stay. Hoping it’s the same when I return!! :)

Great party, bad food and nothing works
Decent at best. To start, I’m a 30 year old social male who likes a good party. I came with family for a birthday. I’ll start with the good first: Beautiful grounds, safe entry (guards and strict gates), lots of pools and bars. The staff were mostly nice despite other comments. The price for a flight and hotel package was really affordable. It is on the beach and the beach is pretty. Also the pools are essentially open 24/7 which is pretty cool and uncommon. Good dj and music sound system at the pools. The daily shows were pretty good too. Water slides were fun and not too busy. Now the bad, which there is two HUGE glaring problems: 1. Nothing works, the ac unit in 2 different rooms didn’t work and wasn’t fixed despite asking 3 times. The key cards wouldn’t work to the rooms. Went to the front desk 6 times at least to get new keys because we couldn’t get into our room. There was a line of people with the same problem. The elevator was broken the last day of our stay and we had to take the stairs everytime. The “sports bar” has pool tables which you need tokens for, $3 a token. The machine was broken for days and no one cared to fix it. 2. The food. The food is pretty bad. Most places are buffet style and just have a random name for what they are supposed to be. Nothing tastes right and even the best restaurants are not really good. Nothing is hot it’s all cold except the things you want cold are hot. I’m not really a big foodie or luxury eater but the food was hard to stomach and I ate at almost every place. Also, NOTHING is open after 10pm except the sports bar that has nachos with cold fake cheese that they don’t replace and just let sit for 6+ hours. No food can be delivered to the resort and there’s no room service. Literally not a single thing to eat. If you only care about getting drunk spring break style this place is a blast. If you come here with a family you will probably be disappointed. The staff, music, drinks, and pool scene are great. The food is awful. Not a bad stay it just depends on what you want.

24/7 loud beeping noise ruined the vacation
4 nights in this hotel I had loud beeping noice every second similar to warning noise of backing up truck . Every day I had complained to the reception. After my complaint noice was turned off , just to be back out loud the next morning at 7 am. It was on all day every day. Other features of the property are nice, but for this noise that doesn’t let you do nothing and consumes you entirely as the torture, I gave this property 1 star.

Worst stay ever
Location was fine. The resort rooms/entire building had no air my entire stay. I was not moved to another room, ants were in room when we got there, and i was told.by the front desk if I had food? How when I just arrived. The beds smell like mildew. I was told I can walk around to other rooms and check to see if the air work because the workers said they not going to do it. The dinner was trash, music was trash. The workers are rude, and disrespectful. The resort only caters to Spanish speaking only. Very bad expierence and I love RIUs but this hotel was a horrible stay. I was refused for hours to speak to a manager. I was told he had other important things to do, as if having a hot room in 89 degree weather was not important, when im a paying customer. I will never return again.
