    Very average all inclusive

This hotel was not bad in any way. Tho it was just too large for me. It had every age of visitors you can imagine. There was a kid friendly pool, the adult pools (where we spent all of our time) and the “college/party” pool area. The club parties were crazy loud and happened to be near my room so that wasn’t great. But there was only one party that went til 11pm. The food was fair, very typical of all inclusives of this size. Just nothing special about this place. The entertainment (outside of the club parties- which we didn’t go to) was very average.

Terrible food and a Loud Bass Beat constantly throughout resort

Though we were excited upon arriving as the property was in a great location and looked decent we were soon very disappointed. The food was TERRIBLE. There wasn’t one decent meal on the property and we got sick from eating the food the first night. Long wait lists to get into what was the only what they called their nice restaurant which again was just another buffet restaurant with terrible food. In addition, this resort was very LOUD with a constant bass beat in the background and an overwhelming number of people in the pools . We just relaxed on the beach which there was no food or drink service . This resort was for the 20 something person just looking to get drunk and party with cheap unlimited alcohol. The bartenders couldn’t make a drink beyond a margarita. The walls in the rooms were paper thin and infact we got a phone call and a knock on our door at the same time that we were talking too loud. Yes, that’s right talking too loud. It was just two of us and we were in the crappy bed which was two double beds pushed together watching tv and having a conversation when we got the phone call and a knock from security yet there was the loud thumping bass beat throughout our entire stay. . A phone call was probably all that was necessary instead of treating us like we were committing a felony offense and sending security to our door pounding on it like we were having a wild party . Even though we love Cabo we will never stay at a RIU after this experience.

Upcoming visit in June - 4th or 5th time going to Santa Fe

I have stayed at the Palace twice then decided to try the Santa Fe. We have never returned to the Palace. The vibe at the Santa Fe is fun and just exciting. The location is great, the entertainment is fun and the pools are refreshing and have wonderful views. The food is great also. I am going this June for a wedding and it will be my 4th or 5th time at the Santa Fe, I really can't wait!!! Oh and by the way I am in my 50s

Riu Sante Fe beautiful grounds Food and Drink lacked

We decided to stay here last minute because we love Los Cabo. I did not expect it to be resort we normally go to. Ro6om small with two double beds, which we had to share with our 15 year old. They have a liqour bar with local liqour. Drinks are terrible. All local brands. We went to Walmart and bought our own alcohol was down the street Local taxi charges 400 pesos round trip. Food here had a lot of choices but always overcooked fish and meat. Same stuff every day. Alla carts were buffets. We did go to the steak house, and we all had the ribeye first dinner. We were we got med rare steak. Entertainment by the pool was ok. There's not much going on. Entertainment at night was pretty much the same every night. Band in the center followed by a stage show. We stayed up a bit later to see the nightclub, it smelled like a dirty mop. I wish I could have left a better review like some of my other resort experiences. Unfortunately, Riu did not meet my expectations, as I have visited many resorts, I feel that much of the food and drink were wasted due to the lack of quality and flavor. If you like good food, and better brands of liqour stay somewhere else.
