Mother/Daughter Trip
My mom stayed at the Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas Sep 20 - Sep 25. We truly enjoyed our stay. They are constantly cleaning, customer service is AMAZING, and the choices of restaurants was good. The first day we arrived our server was Rocio. After that service, we always requested her when she was working. The sweetest and most caring server! We were also served by Raul at the Italian restaurant and he was also amazing. Another person who made an impact was Honrario. All bar were great; but, Javier treated us the best. Our room was clean EVERY day and our housekeeper, Belinda did an excellent job. She also made cute towel designs every day! One thing I truly appreciated with their service is that they all help each other. They all treated you as if they were your server from the beginning. Loved it here and will go again. Yes, it needs a little upgrade; but the cleaness is unbelievable.

We recently spent 4 fantastic nights at the RIU Palace Cabo San Lucas and had a wonderful time overall. Service The service throughout our stay was truly excellent. Every single staff member we encountered was remarkably warm, professional, and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived until checkout. Room Our room was very clean and comfortable, featuring a nice view overlooking the pool and the ocean. Waking up to those views every morning was a major highlight of the trip. Location & Amenities The resort's location is hard to beat. It sits right on a great stretch with stunning views, offers easy access to the neighboring Riu Santa Fe property, and getting into downtown Cabo San Lucas via Uber was a breeze (just a quick 5-minute walk out to the main road to catch your ride). One other thing worth mentioning is that the beaches are not swimmable, but that didn't bother us at all since the pools and views made up for it. Foodwise, the main buffet was surprisingly good offering a massive and delicious variety that completely exceeded our expectations for all-inclusive buffet dining. What We Liked Best Hands down, our favorite parts of the trip were the prime location, the stunning pools and ocean views, the friendly and professional staff, the impressive main buffet, and the great entertainment options (including access over at the Santa Fe). What We Liked Least If there is room for improvement, the resort is perhaps starting to feel a bit dated and is likely due for some structural renovations and cosmetic upgrades. Additionally, while the main buffet was good, the a la carte restaurants were mediocre at best. One other thing worth mentioning is the beaches are not swimmable. Overall, a great getaway and a resort we would recommend for its views, staff, and location!
