With the opening of Chef Michael White’s coastal Italian restaurant Paranza at The Cove, Atlantis has become the only resort in the region with three Michelin star-rated chefs: Michael White (Paranza), Nobu Matsuhisa (Nobu) and José Andrés (FISH by José Andrés).

We recommend approved, licensed operators- such as Blue Adventures or Stewarts Cove. - Non-Motorized Water Sports †At the 7-acre Paradise Lagoon, visit the Neptune's Water Toys hut to arrange for non-motorized water sports and excursions. Choose from water bikes, peddle boats, kayaks, water hammocks and snorkeling equipment rentals.
- PoolThere are 11 pools on site. At Atlantis, there are pools that satisfy every taste, from the formal splendor of the Royal Baths Pool to the relaxed atmosphere and fun of the River Pool.
Aquaventure - 63 acres of water thrills including a 1 mile river loop featuring tranquil curves, rolling waves and raging river rapids. The mystical power tower is home to 3 new water-coaster rides and the most intense body slide to date....The Abyss.
Mayan Temple: Five thrilling waterslides include the Leap of Faith, a 60-foot near-vertical drop before you pass through a clear acrylic tunnel submerged in a shark-filled lagoon.
Each pool deck offers lounge chairs for sunbathing and complimentary beach towels for guests of the resort.
Guests must be at least 48 inches tall to ride the water slides. Splashers mini-waterpark features water thrills for the little ones, under 48 inches. - Sauna †

Located in the Royal Towers, and viewable from the lower level of the Great Hall of Waters, the Ruins Lagoon, filled with ancient Atlantis artifacts, is home to over 20,000 deep reef and pelagic fish. These open-water fish include a variety of tuna, jacks, snappers and spiny lobster. The 2.7 million-gallon exhibits allow for the magnificent display of certain species of fish that are normally impossible or very difficult to view without getting wet.

Prices were insane, weather not great unfortunately during our stay, but the waterpark was amazing. Loved the Dig and Predator cove. Dolphin Cay was a great experience. Food overall was pretty good although overpriced. Paranza was our favorite. Fish by Jose Andres was the the biggest let down. Would probably come again in warmer months before the summer crowds and make sure to buy most of food and drinks before coming to the resort since most of the restaurants aren't worth the price. Shake shack is a solid spot.

Jan 26, 2026Amazing Family Vacation - Thank you Deanza Moss & Everyone Working Hard at The Royal at Atlantis!
Just returned from an amazing 1 week stay at The Royal at Atlantis in the Bahamas on Paradise Island and it was another amazing experience for our family! I highly recommend this place and want to personally thank Deanza Moss who provided VIP treatment and an incredible experience from the moment we arrived! We had an amazing high up view overlooking the ocean and the gorgeous pools and aquamarine life that surround the property. Several staff members helped to provide a wonderful experience, and we enjoyed meeting so many amazing people during our stay. We look forward to returning soon! Highly recommend staying at The Royal because so much is centrally located here - the pools, waterslides, nice beaches, casino, many of the best restaurants (we ate so much amazing food!). If you are deciding between a few places to travel to, choose the Royal at Atlantis if you want nice weather with many fun things to do for people of all ages. You will return with a smile on your face and look forward to returning again in the future!

I don’t typically write a lot of reviews but I wanted to make sure to recognize one of the Atlantis employees for their outstanding service. After a long day of travel we finally made it to Atlantis. We were worn out and not in the greatest of moods. That all changed after we were greeted at the front desk by Ovan. Ovan was so personable and made us feel welcomed. Before we knew it we had forgotten about the difficulties getting there and were excited about our stay in the Bahamas at the Atlantis! He expedited the check in quickly and had us on our way to our room to get started on a great few days! We enjoyed the rest of our stay but it all started with a front desk representative taking the time to engage with us and make us feel welcomed!

Beautiful property, sad staff, semi dated rooms
Staff seemed disconnected and unapproachable. Most staff looked like they were killing time. Rooms are nice but a little dated. Property is beautiful and the beach is perfect.

Had a bad experience in the Casino. Was given false information when applying for a credit line. Resulted in me not being able to play. The resort is always a great time, but the Casino let me down big this time. Disappointed was an understatement
