  Poor service

  DO NOT BOOK VIA ATLANTIS DIRECT. They do not help you at all. We booked via atlantis and our air canada flight home was cancelled. We were not aware of this and atlantis have been no help at all to fix it despite us booking flights via them. We have wasted the last day of our holiday trying to sort this. Service has also been terrible in all restaurants. This is not a high quality hotel. If you want good service, do not stay here.

  Great trip!

  We arrived slightly early before check in and Tabitha at the bell desk was very welcoming and stored our luggage until our room was ready. Can’t beat the location or the view from our room. Thanks so much to De’Khantae for upgrading our 2 rooms to adjoining rooms with ocean view. The rooms were clean with pretty decor. It was amazing waking up to a tropical postcard every day. We ordered in room dining for breakfast a few days ( it was delicious) and admired the beautiful grounds of the resort and ocean as we planned our day. As for value, I thought the flight and room package was reasonable. However, you will spend a bit of money on food and drink. It is an island after all, and obviously cost $ to ship everything here. I gave a four star review because we had several days with luke warm water for showers, and at least one of the hot tubs on the grounds had cold water. ( We never searched for another hot tub so I can’t comment as a whole) The slides and not so lazy river were great! Plenty of pool space as there are several, as well as a lagoon. The main beach was closed while we were here due to rough surf. Nothing you can do about Mother Nature. We also loved the Marina. The pizza was yummy and the cocktails at Dilly were so good! We absolutely loved Zaria at Dilly, she and her co-workers were so much fun! We went on one excursion that was awesome. I will be writing a separate review for them. We fed the pigs on a beach, snorkeled with turtles at another stop and then went to another stop to snorkel with LOTS of fish. It was a great day!!!!!

  Great resort, but not budget friendly. Expect to splurge.

  Great place to relax and have fun. The waterparks, The Dig, and marine life are incorporated throughout the resort. Plenty to see and do. The only drawback is the cost of food, drink and activities. Overall, the resort does cater to families.

  A great family resort with almost everything you could wish for

  Would I go back? Yes. Atlantis is an incredible destination for families, particularly those travelling with children. The sheer range of things to do makes it a really special place to stay. The water park is fantastic. It's smaller than some of the enormous water parks in Dubai, but I actually think that's an advantage for families. There's more than enough to keep children entertained, without the park being so enormous that you're constantly worried about losing sight of them. One of the highlights of our trip was swimming with the dolphins. It's an incredible family experience and something the children will remember for a long time. The resort has an enormous selection of restaurants, attractions and activities. There really is something for everyone, and you could easily spend your entire holiday here without running out of things to do. Atlantis isn't cheap, and the quality and value of the restaurants vary considerably, but as an overall family holiday destination, it's a fantastic experience. We'd absolutely return.

  Atlantis Oct 26 Mixed Review, but will go back...

  Been to Atlantis many times over the years. Love the people and property, but there are improvements needed for sure, and not loving how Marriott Titanium Elite members don't really get many perks (literally nothing), but that was not why we are giving a poor review after this trip. We stayed in a Ocean View King room in the Royal Tower. We prefer this tower just due to proximity to everything at the resort. The issues were: chipped paint in the tub and around the shower, an old button on interior shower curtain that didn't stay up and we removed all together, a toilet that barely flushed, safe batteries were low, the room AC smelled like mold and our clothes were smelling musty after being in there, the pillows and mattress were old and not comfortable at all, the duvet and pillows were balled up inside and the duvet was the thickness of a piece of tissue paper. Most of the restaurants on the resort were closed and only a few were operating. The best thing about our trip was the bar at the base of the Royal Towers by the lobby (Young Edward was amazing!) and the STAR OF THE ISLAND WAS Jose Andres restaurant FISH! It was a TOTAL 10 stars. One of the best restaurants ever.
