This is our 3rd, and last, visit to this property. STAFF/CUSTOMER SERVICE - I would rate this a ZERO if it would let me. 99% of the staff couldn’t care less what is going on around them. They very rarely greet you when you walk up to the bar or dinning area, are unfriendly, and are looking off into space when taking your order. Every encounter seemed to bother them. I am very big on tipping and try to tip anyone that gives us at least a slight positive experience. Many times I tipped and didn’t even receive a thank you. The 2nd and 3rd day we had no towels in the room. After 3 phone calls and a visit to the front desk, they finally dropped some off at the room at 11pm. We couldn’t even shower before dinner. ROOM - We had a total of 5 guests on this trip so we booked two rooms. One was a cottage and the other a standard room. The cottage had holes in the roof where you could see the sun shining through. The vaulted ceilings, with the lack of insulation and holes, caused the room to be incredibly warm during the day. We weren’t in the room much during the day so it wasn’t a huge issue as long as it didn’t rain. After dinner and the show, it was typically cool enough to tolerate. One evening after a long day of SCUBA diving, I came back to the room to shower. After covering my body completely in soap, the water shut off and never came back on that night. DINING/FOOD/BARS - We aren’t finished with our trip yet, but on 4 occasions they have ran out of ice. I can live with some unhappy staff and a room that is t quite as comfortable as I would like, but I better have a cold drink when I ask. When they were out, they wouldn’t even mention it. We would ask for a Pepsi, and they would hand back a hot cup of soda with no ice and expect everyone to be OK with it. When asked if we could also get ice, they would just say we are out. No info on when they may be getting more. I watched a bartender on Friday night hand out cans of Red Stripe straight from a case that was sitting on the bar that was never on ice. If you want to eat the same 3 mediocre items for a week straight then this place is for you! Once you finally get a plate, finally get a fork and knife, and give up on getting a drink and go to the bar to get it yourself, you can stand in line to get some dry rice. Rice was always plentiful on the buffet. If you wanted to stand around long enough you may snag a very small portion of dry/tough protein. I was excited to get some jerk chicken during lunch as they were outside grilling it, but when I got to the grill he said no chicken for 30 minutes. He asked where I was sitting so he could bring it to me when it was done, but it never came. There were lots of mystery dishes that were created using the previous day(s) left overs. They had staff placed at every exit to ensure you didn’t take a banana from the buffet to eat by the pool or in your room later that day. I noticed staff sneaking food out to other staff or locals like they were making drug deals, it was quite strange. BEACH - The beach areas are about the only thing this place has. They are typically always clean and looking good. There was usually always a few chairs available to use for your time at the beach. There are some shady characters on the beach that appear to work for the hotel selling excursions, but it’s something they do on the side. We booked a SCUBA trip, only to find out it wasn’t through a dive center. The hut at the beach has a sign saying they offer diving, but they DO NOT. Do some research and ask questions prior to booking anything. ENTERTAINMENT - Not great at all. The entertainment staff is the friendliest of them all, but it’s pretty non-existent. They have a few games during the day around the pool but it’s hot or miss. The nightly entertainment isn’t great either. One night it was cancelled completely for unknown reasons. I did not visit the disco so I cannot give an opinion on it.

Not value for your money! Wait until a new owner takes over! My WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVERRRRR

TERRIBLE! AWFUL! LACK CUSTOMER SERVICE! If you are reading this I implore you to keep your money and travel somewhere else. This place needs help. The staff is very unhappy and they say it. The rooms needs upgrade, showers awful, the shingle in the roof has so much hole in it. The staff at the restaurant is very unpleasant especially at the grill. No AC in the club. Food kept running out from the buffet line. No cups at the beach bar, staff telling you to bring your own cups. Only one bottle of water in the mini bar for the entire stay(4 nights) it had never been restocked. Other persons in the party had to change rooms because the shower was looking so bad they felt bad having a bath inside it. Big up Nicholas at the Mediterranean restaurant. Management need to give the so-call supervisor for that restaurant some Customer service training as well as the restaurant manager. Food- 7/10 Customer service- 1/10 Room-3/10 Bar-5/10 Beach-9/10 Staff-2/10 [Nicholas and the ENT Crew] Entertainment- 5/10 Property-3/10 Front desk- 5/10 [unhappy people therefore services was just because they had no choice]

2 out of 5 but definitely not 4 out of 10

Go with an open mind, but some huts dirty and require upgrading. Some staff are great others rude and argumentative with no customer service etiquette. They feel that they are doing you a favour . Manager , David in the dining room ,Owen and Anabel👍👍🏾

    Worst experience EVER !!

Lets get the positive bit of the way first ... the weather was good ! Everything else about this hotel is awful !! From the moment we arrived and stood in a queue for an hour while about 10 guests checked-in, we knew something was wrong. Our chalet, on first impressions looked ok. It's rustic and very basic but what we weren't expecting was the view of the stars through the holes in the roof and the subsequent soaking when it rained. The beach is lovely but what they don't tell you about is the urchin encrusted rocks just off the beach which guests only find out about to their peril. The restaurant, (which is a generous term for it), can only be described as a comedy show. The food is awful, a very limited choice and at one stage during our stay was being dished out by the staff in a queuing system to limit what guests were taking .. an absolute joke! My son whished to take an apple from the restaurant to eat later in our chalet, but was stopped by a security guard and told he must eat it before he leaves the restaurant. I broached this with the management who told me nothing can be taken from the restaurant and consumed in your chalet ..... totally ridiculous ! Plates of half eaten food were left on restaurant tables for local cats to dine on as staff huddled in a corner for a chat! But probably the worst aspect of the experience was the feeling that we were not really welcome. Never hospitable, rarely helpful and when approached were totally dismissive or down right rude. We travelled with TUI and I urge them, as a highly respected travel company, to cut all ties with this hotel. Do NOT travel to this hotel ! Lastly, just to qualify how little they care ... look at the responses they have put to other guests reviews ... it's just a "cut and paste" showing no interest of any reviews!! Be ware !!

Our stay was very good. We arrived on Saturday afternoon and stayed until Monday. The Saturday evening evening staff were not so great, but the Sunday/Monday group were fantastic. One of the managers found out that we were there to celebrate my husband’s birthday and he gave us the royal treatment. We enjoyed every moment there.
