We absolutely loved our stay at the Royal Kona Resort! The view was incredible, the location was perfect, and the drinks were both delicious and surprisingly well-priced. Everything made it easy to relax and enjoy our time in Kona. A special shoutout to Joy at the front desk—she was the absolute best! She was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend the Royal Kona Resort!

We enjoyed our stay at Royal Kona. Front Desk personell very personable, respectful,polite, and professional. We enjoyed bottom floor with Ocean view. Beautiful Kona Sunsets and Ocean.

Excellent value, great hotel!
We had a fantastic stay at Royal Kona. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the restaurant food is great, and the staff is super friendly. We loved being able to watch the ocean from our balcony and walk to town in just a few minutes. We also attended the luau, which had fantastic food and spectacular entertainment. We will most definitely be back!

Guests will be accommodated in the Bay and Alii Towers, unaffected by construction, while discounted “Lagoon Tower Renovation” rooms remain available. Those opting for renovation rooms may upgrade upon arrival, subject to availability. Work is limited to 9 am–4 pm, with minimal noise expected. Scaffolding and exterior repairs will be visible, but guest comfort remains a priority.
