Good luck as a English couple enjoying this hotel, at first it may seem ok but when it comes to the evening your constantly over numbered by local Dominicans paying for wristbands just the for evening and night time for free drinks. You won’t be able to get to the evening bars and the whole night life is catered for only them. They even fill the night club inside the hotel full of local Dominicans to the point where nobody that’s actually staying in the hotel feels safe or welcome to go inside. Overall the hotel isn’t bad in the day time but as soon as the evening hits there is major problems. Also the hideaway pool is so dirty and they don’t even bother to clean it properly in the morning. We stayed in the diamond club hideaway and the room isn’t even amazing or that clean for what u pay for the shower cubicle was covered in limescale. We had miles better experiences in the royaltons in Jamaica than here.

Location is ok. Atmosphere extremely booring, if you are goin for relax trip. This your hotel. Big rooms, too expensive for what they offer. Room service and housekeepers can be more friendly 😒. The food had better at home.This is my 3rd day out of 5 and I can wait to leave.

Had a fantastic time here! Our Butler Domingo was absolutely brilliant! 10/10 service from Domingo, he booked all our reservations, checked in with us every day, helped us in anyway he could, very attentive and a very lovely man. Loved talking to him. Plenty of food choices, good night life entertainment, our swim up room was perfect. Room cleaned everyday, housekeeping at least twice a day, the staff here absolutely make the resort. Lovely, lovely people who work here. Will definitely be coming back. The waiters Richard, Samuel, Pablo for diamond club breakfast made our mornings. Waitresses Shelia and Stephany very warm, welcoming and friendly.

Amazing stay
10/10 experience, went on vacation with my sister and all of the staff were great to us! very kind and catered to us well. Eduardo was our personal concierge and he made sure we got the full experience at Royalton Bávaro. Absolutely loved him! He was so sweet and attentive. also the bartenders were so cool , we really left with amazing memories and a couple new friends. We will be back !

Terrible resort! Terrible customer service! Terrible rooms...musty and dirty and horribly laid out. Terrible food! Located right off a busy road. Not a luxury resort at all! Go elsewhere!
