  First and last resort experience, won't be back

  Worst experience ever! It took nearly 2 hours to check in. We arrived from the airport on a scheduled bus that they were expecting. But unfortunately, they only provided one individual to work the front desk by himself. We arrived at a little after 12 am and were not in our rooms until 2 am. While waiting we had the time to ask the concierge where we could get a drink at this all inclusive resort and were told we would have to leave the resort for a drink, or the mini bar in our room. When we got to the room, there was 2 beer in our fridge and other family members had only one. Then when you called room service they said they could not provide it at that time. No hard liquor in the fridge is available at all... at this all inclusive adult only resort. And by the time we got to the room, we saw that the beds are sunken in on either side with a nice hump in the middle. Going to need a chiropractor when I get home. Did not sleep well at all. And the pillows might as well be paper as they are some of the most none existent support available in pillow form. My neck is screwed. The next day, I tried calling the front desk about the matter, 3 seperate times, to no avail. So, I went down to the front lobby to complain to a manager, the guest services guy said the Manager was not available and sent a maintenance guy up for the bed. He mucked about with the frame and called it a day. Nothing he did got ride of the sunken areas and we continue to sleep like crqp! You'd think for the money we spent they would have changed our room and gave us a better bed, but nope! Nothing was done to address the matter at all. We had the wedding last night, and this morning we were awoken by staff slamming boxes and being obnoxiously loud in the hallway at 9 am. There's no need or excuse for this. We are supposed to be at a relaxing adult only resort, away from our kids. But this is not relaxing, it is vexing! I can't wait to get home to a proper bed and some respectful quiet.

  The best all-inclusive i have ever experienced.

  Booked my holiday with Tui, flights, hotel, transfer and luggage as a package. The hotel was advertised as 5 stars and I have to say it was five stars. The service and food was to a five star london hotel standard, so often i have been to an all inclusive advertised at 5 * and i leave thinking it was 3 or 4 at most. Check-in was effortless, i had seen on line that i might get the hard sell to upgrade to the diamond club (that didn’t happen) i don’t drink spirits, and not a good planner so was happy to book my own restaurant and excursions as and when i wanted, so o didn’t see the need for the upgrade, i got a pink wristband, but others had, black, red or white, i was not treated any different, the staff was fabulous. My room was beautiful, (20751) huge comfortable bed, soft pillows and everything you would expect from a five star hotel, coffee maker, clothes steamer, powerful hair dryer. The maid came in every day, clean bedding and towels, and the free mini bar restocked. There was a buffet restaurant, but apart from breakfast time it was always relatively quiet, because the main restaurants was so good, why would you go to the buffet when you can have a proper sit down meal served to you, the steak house was so good i went twice, the Asian (chopsticks) was also a very high standard. I had a pizza one lunchtime it was as good as any Italian restaurant i have eaten in. Even the two non book restaurants were great Munches poolside and the sports bar, serving freshly cooked food to order. The entertainment team worked tirelessly, with a huge variety, casino night, cabaret, karaoke, silent disco, plus loads of poolside activities. The hotel is in a fabulous location miles of long sandy beaches with lots of sunbeds both on the beach or 20/30 steps to poolside and swim up bar, the serve pink wristband with non premium drinks, but if you ask for sailor jerrys in your mojito, offer absolut vodka they will gladly serve it. all the pools are picturesque, rooftop pool doesn’t get very busy if you want to get away from the madness of the main pool. Lots of staff to assist you with anything you need, like booking trips. there is a great champagne service, cabanas available with a minimum spend.

  The entertainment of Diego and Dany were amazing. Both of them took care, gave nice tipps for the vacation and made us feel welcome!

  A little over a week since we left, and I wish I could be back already!

  We booked our honeymoon here, after wanting to do Mexico for years and having had friends have their honeymoon in another Royalton, we thought we would be in safe hands. Right from arrival we knew we’d made the right choice and the hotel stands out among the crowd. Attention to detail has really been taken, and when you walk through the door and get hit by the smell dispensed from the air freshener it’s incredibly welcoming. The hotel is clean, modern and for it size, didn’t feel overcrowded. It’s very centrally located for the nightlife near Coco Bongos which is only a 10 minute walk. We had the diamond package, but because of the honeymoon also go upgraded to a presidential suite. Sandra our butler and Iran who helped out were brilliant. We keep ourselves to ourselves, but no task was too big and they were always on hand. If you need anything, they’ll sort it and they were always so friendly, it makes you feel so welcome. The room was amazing, with a comfortable bed and plenty of space, and it was clear that housekeeping had a high standard. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the stocking of the mini fridge, but in fairness we also didn’t ask for it to be stocked more than we were getting! Entertainment was to a really good standard, with acts being brought in and there was plenty of wait staff to keep bringing drinks if you were happy to tip, but the bars were also always just the right level of busy to get quickly served. The food was the highlight, outside of the butler service. Wow, the buffet was incredible with a good selection but very good quality. The al carte options were a little hit and miss, but I think that’s personal preference more than a lack of quality. All in all, we more than got our value for money and I’d 100% return in the future.

  Great experience - Beach, food, parties and people

  Such a good experience this time around! We had a whole crew around us to help us and be available for us! Arturo and Marisol have been great and has been helping us the entire time. Alejandro was also really helpful with some special bookings and jumped on an opportunity to compensate when the booking could not be fulfilled. Beach and food has been sensational! I would love to come back for more 😍
