  Perfect holiday

  Absolutely fantastic stay at royalton chic. Abraham was a star around the pool. Couldn't put your drink down without him filling it up without even asking. Staff were perfect, facilities were perfect. Not even half way through my holiday and im looking forward to coming again

  Our Butler!

  We had an amazing experience! Especially with our butler Arturo who made our entire trip so much easier and better!! We will definitely come back again thanks to him!

  Don’t book if you go on holiday to relax

  Initially we were worried about our stay as it appeared to be quite rough and ready with lots of loud individuals coming solely to party. However even tho it’s quite loud here we have really enjoyed our stay! The location is good, there’s not much around the resort really however you are close to coco bongo. The atmosphere is very party like with young,stag and hens here aswell as big groups on party holidays so bear this in mind. Everyone expects a tip so bring some extra dollars with you, you have to pay, pay again and then again and again🤣 The buffet is crap so I would recommend booking the al a carte which are delicious! But again all the servers expect tips. The food at the pool bar is so delicious and Abraham and luis are class 👌🏻 The rooms are cleaned daily to a high standard however the water was brown when we first put the shower on. If you tip staff sometimes they do something nice to your room before you return in the evening. We probably wouldn’t return as we prefer more of a relaxing holiday but we have still enjoyed none the less.

  Royalton does not disappoint

  If you’re looking for a fun atmosphere, great staff, attentive service, modern accommodations, and good food, this is definitely the place! This was my second time staying at this location, and once again, they did not disappoint. The pool was lively, the atmosphere was fun, and the staff were wonderful. We had two butlers who were extremely attentive and always willing to assist with anything we needed. I also upgraded to Diamond Club, and I strongly recommend it. The upgrade gives you butler service, access to the exclusive Diamond Club beach area, and access to the Diamond Club restaurant, among other perks. Overall, we had a fabulous time and I would definitely return!

  Enjoyable but won’t be back

  Went for 5 nights with 2 other couples for a friends trip. Our experience was mixed as we had some good moments but definitely a place we won’t be back to. Husband and I travel frequently and have been to all inclusives across Mexico and Caribbean from Riu to Sandals. For our first full day, we’d booked a cabana on Level 18 which was a bust for a lot of reasons. Even as Diamond Club, we had to buy 3 bottles of liquor. We weren’t allowed to bring pizzas up from Vespa. We were told there would be a foam party which never happened- think there might have been 12 of us there (counting our 6) the entire afternoon. We tried to make most of it but in a matter of hours the main pool lost half its water. Staff didn’t seem to understand or care that you couldn’t even use the pool. All of this on top of the fact that half the roof top is under construction which no one had ever mentioned. That night though was the Independence Day celebrations which was great. The place was beautifully decorated, the food was wonderful and the entertainment that night was enjoyable. We especially enjoyed the Lucha Libre wrestling matches. Our group spent the next day in the Diamond Club pool. We met a lot of great people and really had the best pool day ever! The next day was a recovery day as we had almost as many shots as we are old the day before… we did do dinner at the seafood/mexican restaurant on Level 18 which was fine - nothing really memorable. On our final full day, our butlers arranged a van to take us into town for shopping. It was a little pricey but the driver waited for us at each of our stops so it was nice to have that flexibility. That evening we were looking forward to a nice dinner at Hunters. The food and the service were great here - the same can’t be said though for the overall experience due to the behaviors of other guests. We had tables shouting at each other across the room, people taking videos with bright lights shining in our eyes and don’t even ask about dress code as we saw people wearing baseball caps, slippers and other questionable items. If you’re looking for a high end experience, this is not the place even with Diamond Club. We enjoyed our time during the weekdays before the crazy weekend crowd showed up. Entertainment was not good outside of the Independence Day events. There is no consistency in the schedules meaning we were told about certain events at check in then there’d be something else on the app and our butlers would have different information. I’m grateful for the time spent with our friends but won’t be coming back to this resort. In closing, we’d like to recognize 3 staff members directly: Sandra our butler - she did her best to make our experience great Oskar bartender at DC pool - took great care of our rowdy crowd Omar pool attendant- he always had our chairs ready for us and worked hard for all the DC guests
