  Royalton Splash Punta Cana family vacation

  Great vacation at Royalton Splash Punta Cana! Stanley our butler was so helpful, he took care of all our reservations and amenities we needed throughout our stay. Kelly our concierge was very helpful highlighting the events, entertainment and their locations. Margarita at the Beans Cafe was great, she always had a warm smile and made the best cappuccino! Jose the Bubbles pool butler was great, he always made sure we had lunch delivered pool side. The waterpark was a blast and the grounds were very clean and well kept. The Zen restaurant was our favorite in terms of flavour, value and atmosphere. Mexicana Cantina was good, Hunters was ok and Gratzie I Was our least favourite. The breakfast buffet omelet station was great, room service was hit and miss. Would definitely go back again :)

  Go somewhere else

  Would not recommend the Royalton Splash, perhaps the Royalton Punta Cana on the beach, but I did not see the rooms. We used Marriott points to book our stay, which we were happy we could do. When we arrived we were offered a dis pint to upgrade to Diamond Club. Not something we planned to do, but happy we did otherwise the trip would have been worse. The grounds, restaurants and rooms were horrid. Our bathroom smelled like raw sewage. We stayed in building 28, which was loud from 10 am to 10:30 pm. Loud music from the pool, people yelling and dragging chairs, you heard everything. Our butler, Stanley was pretty worthless. Even at making reservations, we actually used guest services to book for us. He showed up at the end, hoping for a tip, but provided no service. The value of the upgrade was to have access to the other resort by the beach. They seem to focus cleanliness only on that side. We were also able to get private access with shaded lounge chairs on the beach. Beach area is very small and pretty much eroded. We walked up the beach and the other resorts had much nicer areas. The water in the room was a yellowish/brown color. Resort is in need of attention, I felt dirty and uncomfortable during our stay. We only stayed 4 nights and I was thankful for the trip to come to an end.

  Save yourselves, don't go here.

  Disgusting food, my entire family got sick, our room was a mildewy cesspool, no one spoke English, the grounds were decrepit, we lost power for over 4 hours on Thanksgiving with rolling blackouts throughout the night where afterwards our toilets, sinks, everything stopped working with no managers reassuring us that power will return. overall the experience was a letdown and just terrible. It's like the owners of Royalton just let Splash to its own devices while focusing on the people at the beachside resort. I'll never go to another Royalton resort again.

  Great resort

  I went to Royalton Splash resort with 6 of my friends. Our Bulter Antonio Castillo was amazing. He help us with all are booking for dinner reservations and anything else we needed. Always with a smile on he's face.He made our trip very enjoyable. When I go back I will definitely asks for him. Wanda Conway

  Amazing service

  Had an amazing time at the resort. Our butler Antonio was a great help. Welcomed us with a smile and helped us have the perfect trip. This is our 3rd year going and he is the reason we keep returning. Highly recommend this resort, getting the diamond club is a must!
