Great experience at Frattinis
Alan at Frattinis has served us twice now at the resort's Italian restaurant. Couldn't ask for better, welcoming service.

I stayed in Sandos Cancun spending my last christmas, along with my family and the result could have been better: Positive specs: + Food (awsome) + Localion (perfect) + Beach (beautiful) + Clean (nice) + Rooms (cozy) + Reception (effective) + Swimming pools (perfect size) Negative specs: - Reserved areas (too many for exclusive members.. why?) - Manager (ufff, get a new one!) - Animation (too short, specially on the evening) Final: After these well spend vacations, there are two major specs that i would like to consider: 1st - Why did the manager took away the beach voleyball net??? Misconsideration to your guests.. I had to use the others on the nearby resorts. Shame on you!! 2nd - Special thanks to the staff of the Zango Restaurant: Tony, Silvio, Erika, Lizbeth, Ignacio, Sara, German, Alvaro and Ingrid, they're simply awsome and made me feel like if i was at home. I hope to see you soon!

Jan 04, 2026The potential is there for it to be 4 stars but there are some inconsistencies.
I’m not sure if the hotel is going downhill or working its way back up. The marketing team seems to be trying to turn it into a bougie temptations like resort. There are repairs that need to be made but at the same time a lot of stuff looks brand new. Like many reviews, the beach is great and the staff make it wonderful. If you can look past the cold food and small maintenance issues it’s a nice small resort that is perfect for a sunny getaway.

Small resort with heart and hustle guaranteed to please.
Such a great resort! The beach is absolutely stunning, White sand, wave surfing, warm crystal clear water. The hotel staff were very accommodating to all our needs. Check in amd iut was seamless, We were able to upgrade our room and get a late check out. Carlos guest services manager was outstanding at making us feel welcome and cared for. The hotel is a small hotel with 5 restaurants to choose from. All of them have great options and the service staff were always willing to please. Fausto was an amazing server for breakfast and out on poolside/beach area. He worked very hard to ensure all guests were taken care of. Francy at Bar One was the best bartender making a delicious golden margarita. The entertainment both poolside, night club, and bar one were very entertaining and the performers never stopped. New Years eve was over the top with fun. The resort pulled out all the stops. 5 course meal, music and dancers, throughout, saxophone and violinist, fire dancers, electric guitar rock and roll, fireworks on the beach. It was the best new years celebration our entire party has ever experienced. Hats off the Paula amd Alex the Entertainment coordinator/managers.
