  You have been warned!!

  Don't listen to the good reviews. Cons: Dirty pools No resos for restaurants. ( Long waits) Food takes forever to get restocked Mosquitos galore No fitted sheets just flat ones. Beach is not good. (Mother nature) Buildings are falling apart. Pros: Beautiful property Common area is lively Monkeys Drinks are good. Can't get over nasty pools though😬

  Restaurant situation is horrible

  Restaurant situation was terrible. 3 were closed. You have to wait in line for 30 minutes to get reservations for all the other restaurants. The buffet is crowded at peak hours with a lot of things missing. Would not recommend going with family.

  Wedding 2026

  If you’re thinking about doing a destination wedding here DO IT! The wedding team (specifically Anto & Victor) were truly amazing in making my dream day come true. They remained in contact and made sure everything went smoothly, and that we were on time. They were both so kind and welcoming. Very reassuring and were there for any other questions we needed. It is an absolutely beautiful resort, with amazing wedding venues, good food, lots of wildlife and so much to do at the resort. We will be coming back for vacation next time.

  Mosquitoes and Smoking in Public Areas - Two More Major Disappointments If you enjoy spending your nights chasing mosquitoes instead of sleeping, then this hotel is the place for you. There are so many mosquitoes in the rooms that you can expect them to buzz right next to your ears all night long. It is extremely unpleasant and makes it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Another major disappointment is the smoking situation. Many hotels in Mexico have already introduced strict no-smoking policies in public areas, but unfortunately, this hotel does not seem to enforce them. Today, I was sitting in a public area while two people next to me were smoking. I am a non-smoker, and I strongly dislike being exposed to cigarette smoke, especially in shared public spaces. Mexico has regulations restricting smoking in public places, yet at this hotel, guests continue to smoke in areas where they should not be doing so. This is a serious negative point. Other hotels have already taken these rules seriously and enforce them much more strictly. Unfortunately, this hotel seems to allow guests to smoke freely in public areas, making the experience uncomfortable for non-smoking guests.

  The Worst Hotel Experience I Have Ever Had This is, without a doubt, one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had in Riviera Maya and Cancun. From the very beginning, everything has been a complete disaster. We were made to wait, and the staff did not allow us to check in when we should have. There is chaos everywhere, enormous queues, and absolutely no organization or proper communication. The situation with the restaurant reservations was equally ridiculous. Today, I went to the concierge and practically had to beg Gustavo to make an à la carte restaurant reservation for us. He told me there was availability at the Riviera Restaurant at 8:00 PM and assured me that he had made a reservation for three people. However, when we arrived at the restaurant, there was no reservation under our name. We had simply wasted our time. When we tried to resolve the situation, two female employees, Monica and another woman whose name I unfortunately did not see on her badge, did not accommodate us or help us. Why does a hotel in this day and age make restaurant reservations such a complicated process? Why are guests forced to stand in enormous queues just to book an à la carte restaurant instead of using a simple app or online system? I went to make a reservation at 4:00 PM and found a huge crowd of people already waiting. Even after asking for help from the concierge and receiving confirmation, the reservation was not there. There is no proper organization, no efficient service, and no sense that the hotel genuinely cares about its guests’ experience. I am extremely disappointed with this hotel. Between the chaotic check-in, the endless queues, the lack of organization, and the complete mess with restaurant reservations, this experience has been absolutely unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.
